This full-day excursion offers a visit to the two most scenic villages on Lake Como: Varenna and Bellagio. The journey begins in Como city, where the tour kicks off with an overview of the city’s history, spanning from Roman times to the present day. Following this, participants will board a fast boat or hydrofoil for a direct trip to Varenna, lasting approximately 50 minutes. Along the 20-mile route, the tour showcases various villages and their historic villas and breathtaking gardens on Lake Como, including the Villa of G. Clooney, Villa del Balbianello (featured in Star Wars and James Bond Casino Royale), Villa Pizzo (John Legend’s wedding venue), the former Villa of G. Versace, Villa Carlotta, Villa Cassinella (featured in the series Succession), and many more. In Varenna, a walking tour will provide stunning views. Afterward, a 15-minute boat ride will take the group to Bellagio, where there will be a lunch break of about an hour followed by a walking tour. The day concludes with a return trip on the hydrofoil boat back to Como city, arriving around 6 or 7 pm.
