Making pasta and memories in Italy! - Our experience with Chef Alex was the highlight of our trip to Venice. It was the first time our family of five created a meal together (sure, eating together is always the easy part!), and everyone loved the art and beauty of pasta making. It was a chance to laugh and learn and bond. We also met a warm and lovely group of sisters/daughters from Ohio that worked beside us at the next table. Their engagement totally elevated the experience for us. They were so fun! Alex's passion and enthusiasm for cooking shined so brilliantly. More so, she focused on all of us connecting and sharing in an atmosphere of warmth and coziness. She was patient and so very kind - just wonderful. We all got to eat our pasta (ravioli and fettuccine in two different sauces) together at the end and drink fantastic wine. We capped it off with yummy gelato. It was beautiful. A lot of the tours you'll take in Italy force you to be in high gear, on the go, in no-rest-for-the-weary mode - out of necessity. Pastamania allows you to relax and enjoy and just be. I highly recommend.

Fun and delicious food! - We booked the Pastamania experience through Airbnb to celebrate our 35th birthdays, and it ended up being the highlight of our whole trip. Our instructor, Bea, was absolutely wonderful, truly one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people we met in Venice. She walked us through making pasta and gelato step-by-step, always patient, always encouraging, and always ready to help when we needed a little extra guidance. She made the whole experience feel fun, relaxed, and special. And the food… the pasta and gelato we made with her were some of the best we had during our entire stay in Italy. There was also wine (never a bad thing!), but the real magic of the experience was Bea herself and that we got lucky with an all girls group. Bea is a girls girl! If you’re visiting Venice, this is an experience you must book.

Wonderful - Alex was a wonderful teacher. My grandmother, mother, sister, and I all participated in a class where she made us feel welcome and excited. The food was wonderful and we will take back memories and recipes.

Our teacher Alex was so amazing and she took the time to explain every step so we could recreate at home. She was so kind and we loved getting to learn more about her life. A great experience - Bea was a joy to learn from. She had everything highly organized, made her lessons seamless and was just fun to be around! We made recipes that that can be easily recreated at home at journey's end. I enjoyed the results and the wine pairings as well. Thank you for making it such a fun and comfortable experience.

Wonderful experience - This was the first time we tried a cooking class while on vacation and it didn't disappoint. Ottavia was our host/chef and she was excellent. She was patient with the class and offered individual help to each participant. However, there were two negatives with the class. The title suggests wine tasting wherein fact there was only one wine for tasting and only red wine. I only drink white wine so this was a disappointment. Secondly we were promised recipes and after 4 attempts to contact the company, I still haven't had a response.
