• Via della Rocca, 1 - At the most scenic spot in San Gimignano, the La Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience offers an exhilarating and unique “late afternoon adventure”: join the “Superior Wine Tasting” event. Starting at 5:00 pm, enjoy an hour and a quarter of complete relaxation while learning about and savoring the gastronomic delights of this historic wine region.

Comfortably seated in our well-appointed and professional tasting room, participants will enjoy: expert wine tasting, food and wine pairing, and engaging storytelling.

Sample four Vernaccia wines (two vintage Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and two Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Riserva) along with a local red “San Gimignano DOC” in one of its many variations, all paired with Tuscan specialties.

Embark on a tantalizing journey into wine tasting, with five varieties in our well-equipped and cozy lounge. All patrons can safely relish this shared and one-of-a-kind experience while maintaining necessary distance. Should you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please provide details in the ‘notes’ section when making your reservation and we will strive to satisfy them. The tasting fee covers all expenses: wine tasting, water, and selected food pairings. The Rocca di Montestaffoli does not offer conventional bar facilities such as coffee, tea, sodas, spirits, or snacks. Children can also partake in this experience; our team will arrange a special assortment of gourmet treats at a charge of €8 per child. Please note, however, that serving alcohol to underage individuals is prohibited by law.
