- Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
- Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

wine tour - Our tour guide, Rafael, and bus driver, Vincenzo, were amazing. They were funny and informative. We had no trouble locating them. The tastings were great and came with quality information about the history of wine making, and each winery. We were able to purchase wine to go. The views were stunning. highly recommend.

Amazing & Fun Winery Tour - This 2 winery tour was amazing! Not too short, not too long! RAF our tour guide made it super fun while Vincenzo our driver was excellent!
Highly recommend this tour! The wineries were very different so it was nice to see to compare. Wines were great, 2nd winery has a sweet winery dog too!
Beautiful views, food and olive oils excellent.

Educational and fun! - Fantastic experience! Raf was very entertaining and his passion for wine was as intoxicating as the libations. Vincenzo was extremely safe and kept the music on the ride lively. The drive there was full of interesting information and the drive back was the real party!

Tuscany Winery Tour - This experience was exactly as expected. We visited two wineries and sampled 8 different wines and ended up buying some wine to ship home.

Highly recommended in Florence – Chianti experience to remember - I can keep it short: do it!
If you are in Florence, it is highly recommended to explore the Chianti region. In a small international group you will go out. That might feel a bit awkward at first, but our tour guide Jason managed to turn that perfectly into a fun group in which there was a lot of laughter and everyone quickly felt at ease.
After this trip you really go home with an experience richer. You will learn more about the Chianti region and taste fine wines, olive oil and balsamic, all accompanied by shelves of Italian delicacies.
The excursion was not cheap, but we absolutely do not regret it. We enjoyed ourselves a lot, laughed a lot as a family and even made new friends. The driver and especially tour guide Jason completed the whole trip. Highly recommended!

An excellent afternoon wine tour - An excellent tour, the instructions to the meeting point were idea and the checkin was friendly. The tour was to two wineries Fattoria Poggio Capponi and Casa Di Monte where there were short tours of the properties followed by wine tasting. At Fattoria Poggio Capponi this included bread and olive oil and at Casa Di Monte there was also bread, cheese, meats, honey to enjoy with the wine. Our guide was Matteo who was excellent and gave us information about the tour, the area and the wines.

Great experience! - We enjoyed the small group and the wine! Both wineries were beautiful. The guides at each winery were very knowledgeable. Would book again when we come back to Florence!

Amazing experience! - Our tour guide was absolutely brilliant. After doing several different tours in Italy, I can safely say he was the best! We learned so much about wine, felt welcome at both wineries and also learned so much of the history of Florence and the greater area of Tuscany. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Nice Wine-Tasting Day Trip in Tuscany - We went on the half-day trip from Florence to the wine-tastings (two stops) in the Tuscany countryside on a showery day. Jonathan, our guide, was excellent, and Francesco, the driver was a careful driver. Both Chianti wineries we visited gave good tours and tastes of fine wines. We actually found one of them to have, along with fine wines, the best extra virgin olive oil we have found anywhere, so bought some and will order more back in the States.
