Situated centrally and adorned by the iconic murals that decorate the streets, the museum proudly showcases a history spanning nearly two centuries, with the earliest records dating back to 1848. It remains beautifully preserved, reflecting the architectural charm of its era.
Inside, the museum displays the historic tools used to create Orgosolo’s traditional bread: “Su Pane Tostu” (Pane Carasau) and “s’ispianada” (the esplanade). Visitors can engage in an educational activity, literally getting their “hands in dough,” to learn the techniques and secrets of bread-making through every stage.
