• Enoteca del Centro - Step off the cobblestone streets of Bari’s old town and into a warm, historic wine shop—where glasses are always full, stories are shared, and the air is filled with the scent of aged oak and fresh focaccia.

Visitors are welcomed into a delightful, family-operated wine shop, brimming with character and steeped in local history. The host—a dedicated wine connoisseur—will lead a tasting of four expertly chosen wines: a sparkling, a white, a rosé, and a red. Each wine is selected to highlight the variety of Southern Italian grapes, from crisp coastal whites to robust sun-drenched reds.

While sipping, guests will learn about the winemaking process—from vineyard to bottle—along with tales of the grapes, the regions, and the winemakers who honor tradition while embracing innovation. Basic tasting techniques will also be introduced, enabling guests to identify aromas, balance, and structure—even if they are new to wine.

To enhance the wine experience, a tasting platter of local food pairings is provided: cured meats such as capocollo or salami, aged and fresh cheeses, seasonal jams, artisan bread, and soft, golden focaccia fresh from the oven. Each item is thoughtfully chosen to complement each glass perfectly.
