A wonderful and informative experience. - Great introduction to the wines of the region. We had a very enjoyable and informative evening tasting wine and learning how to distinguish different varietals. We are wine lovers and have attended many wine tastings around the world and most highly recommend this experience. Would be enjoyable if you are an experienced wine lover or a novice. Can’t wait to return in the spring or fall and visit wineries of the Langhe in depth.

Very good educator and a delightful wine exploration experience. - We had an exceptional experience at this wine education course. We tasted several excellent wines, and while the wine was good, the information and story behind them was even better. Julia is an excellent educator and very kind and warm person. We learned a lot, we're now motivated to actually go visit some of the micro regions in the Piedmont area. And we'll make good use of the knowledge that we gained in this course. I highly recommend this. It is very approachable class. I personally have had a lot of wine instruction in France. Yet I still learned a lot of information in this. But it's also useful for someone who has only been a casual drinker of wine at dinner. This will help you up your game and increase your knowledge and your enjoyment of wine in Italy.

The Grape Escape In Torino! - Julia provided an incredible wine experience in the heart of Torino. Firstly, I have to say thank you for allowing me to be a solo traveler and come in and have this wonderful presentation with her. Julia provided for an informative and well researched session on some local white and red wines which were all excellent quality and certainly very memorable. I quite enjoyed her making the session highly interactive with a lot of good thoughts and backgrounds into the regions and the wines that were presented on this particular morning. I finally learnt about what it takes to become a DOCG and DOC recognised wine! The experience was also enhanced by playing fun games in asking what famous person or actor you think these wines would resemble. Julie's wine shop is comfortable and provides for a very warm experience in quite pleasant surroundings. I spent around 2 hours with Julia on this morning, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to gain an understanding of local wines from this region and be exposed to a highly interactive wine tasting experience. Julia's experience in wine and her background in the hospitality industry in general makes her the perfect blended person to present this experience to those who are looking for a wine experience and not have to travel to a vineyard. Thank you Julia and I hope to do this tour again when I return to Torino Italy.

Great Time! - Julia was an incredible host! She had lots of information about Piedmont Wines, and the wines we tasted were delicious. We tried four wines, and we were at her store for around an hour/hour and a half. She also had great dinner recommendations- we went to Adelaide's for dinner afterwards (5 min walk away from her stores). We bought two bottles of the Barolo and left very satisfied.

Loved this wine class! - This was a great wine experience! We had very little knowledge of Piedmont wines prior to this and really enjoyed learning about 4 primary varietals. The somm leading the class did a great job guiding the tastings and I learned a lot. It was also very low pressure and easy-going.
