One of the high points of my trip - Barbara and her daughter were so lovely. I am so grateful they did not cancel as I was the only participant. I appreciated the time she spent with me on a very busy day. Working with the mortar and pestle was much harder than I originally thought it would be. The payoff of the aroma and taste was so worth it. I left with a shelf stable jar of pesto as well as what was left of my own handiwork to eat on toast the next day. The wine was wonderful and it was a great way to spend the morning before exploring the city! Thank you Barbara for sharing your memories!

Sharing and cooking, a pleasure! - Barbara is passionate and she shares her passion with us. Patient with us, the 2 young teenagers (boys, first 😉) loved the course and delighted in the tasting! A big thank you and a perfect moment of sharing. Gracie

Amazing! - Wonderful experience!! The owners were wonderful and very accommodating. We got to taste two different white wines and have lunch with fresh pasta and fresh pesto… It does not get any better than that. Everyone needs this in their life!!

Pesto you can make at home! - Great opportunity to make fresh pesto from scratch! Very easy class that walked us thru the ingredients, steps and important things to know. (Like can you refrigerate or freeze for later) While we made pesto, Gaia (Our instructor) made the pasta and we ate our pesto together at the end. Two local wines were included to pair with the pasta. It is a Mom and daughter shop and both were very helpful and personable. I would highly recommend this class to anyone. It was a nice couple of hours enjoying some good food and great company.

Great Experience and Tasty - The class was great and very personable. We even got to eat the pesto with pasta and had some wine. At the end we got a certificate and a gift for participating. Thank you Gaia. So friendly and kind.

Yummy and local pesto! Would 100% recommend! - It was so fun, informative, and we love supporting a woman-owned small business. It’s in a local shop, so we bought pasta and were gifted lifetime sealed pesto to take home. We learned a lot about Genova and where they sourced all the ingredients. They played good music, provided water, explained everything fully, answered all our questions, and was just such a fun vibe✨

Not worth wasting a morning on. - Not a 3 hour event. It took only 75 minutes. Pesto lesson, which took 20 minutes, was fine but that was all. Nothing else happened apart from eating pasta ( not fresh) with pesto and a cursory taste of wine. I had to ask to try more than one! Young women who introduced the event was pleasant but there seemed nothing else to do.
