Unique experience - It was an amazing experience — like nothing we have ever done. Would recommend to try. Fun, unique and interesting. Loved that some regular students came in too and were working on beautifully complex mosaics as well

Best part of going to Italy. Must have! Great personal touch. - This was an amazing, awesome class. Excellent experience. Would recommend it to anyone. It was thorough, interesting, interactive. You got to make your own mosaic to take home from the very beginning step all the way to the end. Jean Marco was the main teacher of this class when we went but the head teacher (and owner) Nadia, took over once he had to leave. The class was 3 hours but I was taking too long but she didn’t make me feel rushed and was very kind when I tried to apologize for going so far over time. They had a gathering of students by coincidence that day in the other room that was wrapping up and Nadia even offered us cake and chocolates and espresso from that get together. This was genuinely my favorite experience of going to Italy and I would recommend it to anyone that has even the smallest interest in taking the class. It was absolutely worth it!

A brilliant mosaic making session! - We absolutely loved this mosaic session. It was really fun and I’d love to do it again. The hosts were lovely and they taught us how to shape each stone and create a really high quality mosaic souvenir. I highly recommend booking this activity - my teen daughter loved it too!

This was SO much fun! ... - This was SO much fun! There's so much mosaic work in all the churches we visited that this was really great to get to do early on in our trip - it gave us so much more appreciation for the craftsmanship and talent behind each tile cut and placed in thes amazing places. Our fearless leader was very helpful in our project work and our pieces made it home safely due to their expert packing!

Feel like a Roman artisan! Create your own mosaic! - We loved Nadia’s mosaic making class. We spent a cozy winter afternoon in her charming studio, sipping wine and learning the art of mosaic making. We came away with a whole new appreciation for the craft. Nadia was a patient, kind, humorous teacher. The framed mosaics we created will be treasured souvenirs of our time in Rome.

Mosaic in Rome! - I have no artistic talent. I showed our artist a stick person and said this is all I can do. She said NO! I was 100% guided to creating a beautiful mosaic. It was a magical experience!! I would highly recommend!

Fun and engaging workshop in Rome. - This mosaic workshop was so interesting! The instructor did not speak much English, yet she still did an excellent job communicating and teaching us the techniques. It was a nice way to get away from the busy city for a few hours. The mosaics turned out beautifully and it was a nice souvenir to bring home.
