Lorenzo and his The Red Road - What about Lorenzo? Competent guy, passionate, nice and in love with the places where he organizes his guided tours. He accompanied us in the Lamone Forest telling us about Etruscans, coalmen and brigands. We discovered Rofalco, Etruscan settlement and the Tomb of Gottimo. Finally we had lunch at Rifugio Casale Lamone, with an excellent tagliatelle with hare sauce and Maremma cutlet that melted in the mouth, together with the cook who entertained us nicely. Beautiful experience that we recommend to everyone!

A gem near Pitigliano but outside the usual tourist circuits - Beautiful experience in a lovely place, as soon as you enter the Lamone wood you are projected back in time into a wood that could remind you of those of the adventures of Robin Hood. Very interesting also the archaeological part of the ruins of an ancient Etruscan city and the historical hints proposed by Lorenzo was very exhaustive and precise in telling the story of the place. Finally we had lunch at the refuge enjoying a great dish of tagliatelle with roe ragout that melted in the mouth. Highly recommended experience!!

Walking through historical and natural anecdotes: a complete experience. - Lorenzo is an exceptional guide. The route, agreed according to my abilities, was full of historical and natural anecdotes. The walk immediately turned into a search for traces of passages left by animals, passing through human ones. We got to stop to listen to the birds singing trying to recognize them, as well as stop to look at Etruscan historical artifacts or the simple nature that always welcomes decides to immerse itself in them. I highly recommend Lorenzo as a guide, it was really a great experience!

A lovely walk - Highly recommended excursion! Lorenzo was the perfect guide for us to discover this little-known place. An evocative forest both from a naturalistic and archaeological point of view, the Lamone forest has many interesting anecdotes, as well as a rich history. A walk suitable for all nature lovers.

Forest of the Lamone - Very interesting and immersive experience. The forest is dense and full of secrets, the hike intense but never overly demanding, I would say suitable for everyone. Lorenzo told us many stories and pointed out details that would have gone unnoticed, not only about the most naturalistic but also the most historical part of the place. To be repeated!
