Culinary walking tour - This was an excellent tour and our guide Sam was extremely engaging and knowledgeable about Parma. We tasted many local delicacies and wine and also learned so much about the city along the way. She also made some suggestions for great places to eat in the evening and museums to visit. Would definitely recommend if you love food and culture.?

Wonderful tour in Parma Italy! - My wife and I visited Parma for the first time and did a guided food tour with Sam through Viator. I would rate our tour a 10! There are SO MANY places you could eat at, but having a local expert take you to the best places was very helpful. Plus we also learned a lot about the history of Parma! Do this on day 1 of your visit and then you’ll have great info to use on other days. Thank you Sam and Viator!

The best Parma has to offer combined with a pleasant walk through a super cozy city center - Sometimes you're unlucky. The first and perhaps the only day of our holiday where you could not get out without an umbrella. But the temperature was pleasant. The guide got a nice walk through the super cozy downtown and occasionally walked into a surprising shop. We were also given a lot to eat and drink: from parmeggiano (super tasty) to different types of prosciuto and cooked ham to stuffed pasta and chewy horse meat to an ice cream with two flavors. We drank a white frisante and a red lambrusco. Wine that we would never choose ourselves but that makes it all the more surprising. Everything was casual, informative and very cozy.

Super fun tour in Parma - Andrea was a warm, experienced guide who was very knowledgeable about food in Parma. He took us to 6 stops and we sampled several types of Parma Ham and cheeses, along with other regional specialties. The secret ingredient was a huge surprise, but delicious. My husband doesnt normally like tours but loved this one.
