Gather at Antichi Sapori d’Amalfi, the sole limoncello factory located in the historic heart of Amalfi.
Delight in a guided tour of a traditional family-operated factory and discover the rich history and customs of limoncello production.
Alongside an expert instructor, participants will engage in the hands-on creation of limoncello, learning the artisanal production techniques that have been handed down through three generations. Gain a comprehensive understanding of each step in the process, enabling you to replicate it at home.
Learn to identify a premium artisanal limoncello, including the type of alcohol used, and the proper methods for tasting and serving. Sample various limoncello types and apply your newfound knowledge.
Conclude the experience with tastings complemented by lemon cake, biscuits, and local confections.

We will meet in Piazza Duomo, the main square of Amalfi. In the first part of the experience, I will test your knowledge about limoncello. Once all doubts have been clarified, especially on the choice of alcohol and the recognition of a quality liqueur, I will explain the maceration, production and bottling process in detail. Later, I will show you how to taste it and at what temperature to serve it. After the initial tasting, a short historical paragraph will follow which will explain the origins of the famous “Amalfi gold”. Next, you will personally experience the production of my grandparents’ original recipe. Finally, I will reveal some tips for your future experiences at home! Please inform me of any food allergies.
