- Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - Upon arrival in Ancient Corinth, visitors can delve into the historical importance of this once-bustling city. They can walk the same paths as Saint Paul, visit the ancient market, and see the Bema of Saint Paul—a notable platform where he addressed the people of Corinth. Guests can explore the ruins of this former city-state and reflect on the rich history that influenced early Christianity. Here, they will see the Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Agora, where Apostle Paul preached to the Corinthians.
- Diakofto - The next destination is Diakofto, where guests will board the Cog Railway (Odontotos) connecting Kalavryta with Diakofto, traveling through the stunning Vouraikos Canyon. This route is famous for being one of Greece’s most beautiful natural sights and is celebrated as one of the most spectacular railway journeys in the Balkans.
The train ride offers picturesque views, winding along streams and climbing the steep narrow gorge into the mountains. Passengers will travel through tunnels, over waterfalls, and along cliffs, surrounded by lush forests of pine and oleander. When the incline becomes particularly steep, the train switches from a regular track to a cog system for added stability. The scenic ride concludes in the charming town of Kalavryta, providing an unforgettable experience of Greece’s breathtaking natural beauty.
- Kastria Cave of the Lakes - The driver will meet guests in Kalavryta to continue the tour at the mysterious, magnificent, and unique “Cave of the Lakes,” a rare natural wonder. Inside, there are 13 small and large lakes, each displaying different colors depending on the oxides present in the rocks.
Visitors will see the stunning “hanging bridge” and the “waterfalls” cascading through the cave, creating the sensation of walking along a floating corridor. They will also admire the unusual stalactite formations. In winter, when the snow melts, the cave transforms into a subterranean river with natural waterfalls. The explored length of the cave is 1,980 meters, with 500 meters currently developed for visitors.
The exploration begins through an artificial tunnel that leads directly to the second floor, where the views are truly awe-inspiring. The passage between the lakes is made by elevated artificial bridges. After the cave tour, there will be a stop for lunch in the picturesque village of Kalavryta.
- Athens - In the afternoon, guests will be returned to their hotel.
