Great place, clean room, amazing people

Bed sheets were really uncomfortable

The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the heaters worked great. We checked in kind of late and they were very accommodating. I did, however, feel like the $75.00 cleaning fee was excessive on top of the high price for the cabin.

Well....I really didnt feelwelcomed at the lodge when I tried getting dinner, but maybe it was a disgruntled employee.

The cabin was a great size and stocked with everything one would need. A couple down sides were the cleanliness of the place and the comfort. When we went to grab a towel from the stack left in the cabin for us, there was mouse poop on the towels. I went to the store in town and bought some new ones for us to use. The bed in cabin one is extremely firm. Im glad we only stayed two nights because I dont know if my back would have made it another. There was dog toys left in the cabin from a previous renter im assuming, which was fine we just took them away from our dogs and threw them out. There are cigarette butt buckets at each cabin and they were full of cigarettes butts when we got there. We brought our dogs and were being responsible pet owners, picking up their poop but there was no where to throw the bags away. We walked our whole area looking for a trash can and couldn't find one so we just hiked our trash out when we left. The food at the lodge wasnt that great either ,we tried to give some grace as we were informed that there was only 1 cook on that night, but we did not go back to eat there the next night do to the quality of the first night. But its a beautiful spot and was very quiet and relaxing.
