Highly Recommended! - My guide Ghulam was highly knowledgeable, personable, dignified and enthusiastic about the best photography angles. As luck would have it, he was hosting a family event and extended hospitality to me by inviting me to his home. I had a short stay in Islamabad but was touched and blessed by the rich local experience. Highly recommended!

My guide Ghulam was not... - My guide Ghulam was not only knowledgeable about Islamabad, he was personable, dignified and enthusiastic about the best photography angles. As luck would have it, he was hosting a family event and extended the hospitality to me by inviting me to his home. I had a short stay in Islamabad and was both touched and blessed by the rich experience. Highly recommended!

Book now! Wonderful experience! - My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Ghulam! Not only is he super knowledgeable about Pakistan’s history, but he is very personable and lovely to explore with. He showed us off the beaten path places we would have never found had we visited sites independently and we got a real sense of daily life in Islamabad. If we are ever in Pakistan again we would love to book with Ghulam and explore other parts of the country. Cannot recommend working with him enough! Also he is a great photographer and took very nice pics throughout the day for us.

Best way to see Islamabad! - I spent the day with Waqas and the tour was better than I could have asked for. Before the tour even started, he was great about communicating. He adjusted to do what I wanted, was full of knowledge, and was super nice! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the top Islamabad sites and interested in Pakistan history and culture!

Hidden Gems of Islamabad - It’s my first time visiting Islamabad, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Considering my situation is not a traditional situation and needing photos for immigration purposes… I have been very nervous and anxious to say the least of the entire trip/situation. I decided to book this excursion last minute and it truly exceeded my expectations! This particular excursion cured some of my anxiety which I am forever thankful for.
Truly surprised and eye opening by everything I got to experience! I got to see so much of Islamabad in a very short but thorough 1/day time journey and I got amazing photos! I cannot thank Maqsood and his driver, enough for their hospitality, guidance, just sharing knowledge in general on these very beautiful sites and hidden gems of Islamabad. Maqsood speaks very good English and is also very friendly, considerate person in general.
Considering this is my first trip, but it most certainly is not my last. Next time I visit, I will be back with my family. So I am for sure keeping this excursion in my mind for the future! Thank you so much for a positive experience!
Things I could have done differently:
Walking shoes are more appropriate for this particular experience… I wore slides. And there are particular places in this experience where it is slippery. Other than that, everything was excellent and exceeded all of my expectations!

An unforgettable day in Islamabad – thanks to Ghulam Murtaza!! - We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring Islamabad and the surrounding area with Ghulam Murtaza. Thanks to his deep knowledge, great flexibility, and incredible local connections, we got to see not only all the major highlights but also enjoyed unique behind-the-scenes experiences that we would have never had on our own.
He perfectly tailored the schedule to our needs, including a flexible departure time and excellent suggestions for a delicious and easily digestible local lunch. Ghulam also took amazing photos throughout the day – capturing both us and the attractions beautifully.
What made the tour truly special was seeing the country through his eyes. We came away with a much deeper understanding of Pakistan’s culture and history.
We can’t recommend a tour with him highly enough. Thank you, Ghulam – we’ll definitely reach out again when we’re back in the area!

Islamabad surprised me - Recommend this day tour of Islamabad. My guide was Ghulam and he proved highly knowledgeable and wonderfully passionate about his home city of Islamabad . We covered so much ! I learned a great deal and was able to flex the itinerary to cover extra things I really wanted to see (ok — including a visit to Ghulam’s local grocery store to buy Pakistani snacks !) . But I also had trust in Ghulam to plan the day perfectly around my 2 week Pakistan tour’s less intensive Islamabad itinerary .
Islamabad as a city surprised me— so much more parkland and green space than I expected . Perhaps my timing (ahead of school holidays ) also meant I was lucky to see the mosques, Pakistan monument and Buddha caves without crowds .. perfect ! And adding that , despite recent troubles in Pakistan, I felt completely safe and even privileged to be touring Islamabad.
Highly recommend this day tour and thanking Ghulam for being such a lovely guide .
