From June to September hundreds of whale sharks congregate north side of Isla Mujeres forming the largest whale shark congregation in the world!. On this trip, you will have the chance to experience swimming alongside of whale sharks… the thrill that comes from snorkeling so close of the largest fish in the sea is just something you will never forget!
After a 50 minutes boat ride aprox we will get to the area, once you reach the whale shark area you will snorkeling and swimming with the whale sharks; 2 people per turn accompanied by a certified guide at all times, Our idea is that you enter the water 2 times, however, it all depends on the sea conditions, how many sharks there are and your own swimming skills. They’re not trained or caged and you go to visit their home. You also don’t feed them so there’s no way to guarantee that we will find the whale sharks out there, even though we have a high success rate.

This splendid adventure, which only takes place between May and September, offers a genuinely unforgettable experience as you swim alongside whale sharks - a truly once in a lifetime journey.
Our 32-foot boat is built to ensure a calm and comfortable ride, even in rough seas.
The package includes transportation, an English-speaking guide, snorkeling equipment, a light meal, and refreshments.
The primary aim of our expedition is to locate and swim with the whale sharks. While our team puts in their maximum effort to accomplish this, do keep in mind that this takes place in the creatures’ natural surroundings, not a controlled park. They are not domesticated or confined, and we are guests in their home. We do not feed them either, so there’s no certainty that we will encounter the whale sharks, even though our success rate is high.

10 ⭐️ out of 5 - AMAZING - THIS WAS AMAZING!
On our morning we found a big group of whale sharks. We were guided how to do and in short time we were swimming side to side. After the swim we headed to crystal clear water and had the best ceviche made by the captain and our guide. This was the most unique adventure ever.

Amazing experience - We went out on the trip this morning and it was gorgeous! The guides were so helpful and spoke to us in English as we didn’t speak Spanish. We got to see whale sharks both times we jumped in. It was the most amazing experience. I would highly recommend this company. We also got to see dolphins in the water and they stopped for us to take photos. Afterwards we went for a lovely swim with snacks provided and soft drinks/beers. A beautiful morning on the sea. Thank you again.

Experience of a lifetime. - We had an incredible tour with Manuel and Carlos. We got extremely lucky with beautiful weather conditions and over 50+ whale sharks in the area. We had 2 jumps and got to swim with three different whale sharks. An experience of a lifetime. What these guides do for whale sharks is so important for the preservation of the species. I was so pleased with everything. If I had more time on this trip, I would honestly do it again, it was that spectacular. Thank you Manuel & Carlos for an unforgettable day. I will be back.

Super great experience - We had a really wonderful trip to the whale sharks off Isla Mujeres! Our expectations were far exceeded. Our guide Many / Manuel was really so nice, har everything super structured organized and was very concerned for our well-being. The departure at the port was on time. We have seen very many (more than 10) whale sharks and were allowed to swim with you twice.

Short but amazing experience - The tour was fantastic. While being worried of maybe not even seeing a single whale shark or not having the time for all of us to jump in, we got extremely lucky with the conditions. There were many boats in the feeding area, but LUCKILY, also many whale sharks (at least 15-20). So for each jump, we had our “own” peaceful creature to acknowledge from closeby. They swim fairly fast, so to keep up with them, you’ll actually have to hit the gas. But jumping it right next to them, there should even be enough joy for average swimmers. The water is pretty clear. As every jump is only around 1,5-3 minutes and limited to 2 jumps per person, I would have loved to stay in longer as from time to time other whale sharks are approaching you. This way it would be less hectic and more enjoyable. But still an amazing experience and fascinating how close they let you be with them (if you want).

Incredible experience making lasting memories! - Wow! What an incredible experience! I have been wanted to visit Cancun during the summer months to see the whale sharks come through, and this excursion did not disappoint! It was an absolute dream come true to observe and swim along side these amazing creatures. As a bonus, the ceviche was delicious! Lalo and Felipe were such knowledgeable and accommodating guides - thank you for helping us to create lasting memories! We loved it!
