The best way to see these amazing creatures! - This experience was so magical, it brought tears to my eyes! Our guides were so so amazing. It was a nice long boat ride out to where the whale sharks were, and our captain navigated those beautiful waters perfectly. We were able to enjoy the ride and take in the view on the way there. When we arrived he knew exactly how to get us up close and personal with the sharks. We saw two massive whale sharks and they were breathtaking. I looked one right in the eye!! After plenty of time in the water with the sharks, we took a ride to a nearby reef where we were able to explore on our own. Our main tour guide prepared us the most delicious lunch ever. I’ll be dreaming about that ceviche!! On the ride back we saw dolphins, sea turtles, and lots of birds which was a fun added bonus. This experience was perfect. They provided plenty of tasty food and drinks and they had all the supplies we needed (life jackets, snorkels, goggles). My two main pieces of advice are: 1) ditch the camera. You’ll need both hands to swim and you should really use every second to take it all in. The experience will turn out so much better than any photos. 2) be prepared to swim. This was a bit more physically demanding than I originally expected. The sharks are fast and constantly moving so you’ve got to swim quickly to keep up. But with the captain’s expert navigation, even our weaker swimmers got a good glimpse.

Aqua Adventures is THE dive center for all you need - My sister and I came to Isla Mujeres specifically to snorkel with the whale sharks and to keep our scuba skills fresh. After doing a bunch of research, it was very clear that Aqua Adventures was the most respected option, and in reality, that was even more true! Jessica, the office general manager, all of the dive masters, captains and literally everybody who we met at the center were exceptionally friendly, organized, helpful, supportive, professional and reassuring. Their expertise was obvious. The whale sharks! The whale sharks! The whale sharks! The boat out to the site was a couple of hours. Once we got to the site, all of the different boat captains worked together to identify where the whale sharks were swimming. Everyone took turns, and there was plenty of time for everybody to have two swims with the whale sharks. It was beautifully organized. It was joyful and so magical that it still makes me teary!!! And then! After swimming with the whale sharks, we headed back to the island, but stopped for snorkeling at a reef and some time at North Beach. The boat crew provided all the bottled water, cans of Coke, yummy sandwiches and super delicious homemade ceviche. It was a perfect day, and truly everything about our time on the island and especially our time with Aqua Adventures was perfect. We did four dives, and each was different and exciting. We saw a beautiful green turtle that swam around us. A nurse shark! Fantastic squid; several puffer fish including one very big one, a white spotted puffer fish! Color changing cowfish; barracuda; huge angel fish including a queen angel fish; stingrays; trigger fish; parrot fish and so much more!!! Thank you so much Aqua Adventures!

Experience with children - It's been a great experience. Super friendly and children's earrings. We saw dolphins on the tour and when they arrived they worried that we would all enjoy the experience. Artur the photographer a charm

Whale Shark Snorkeling- Do It Here!! - An amazing trip with amazing links taken by staff to ensure that I was comfortable and happy the whole time. If you're a solo traveler, I would definitely recommend going through these local agencies- they're sustaining good practice around the whale sharks and make sure you're content with your trip. Good people, great ceviche, and amazing memories!

Book them ASAP - so many memories! - OK first off JESSICA is AMAZING! She coordinates the whole operation and makes the customers top priority! She is so polite and easy to talk to. We booked so many things so far ahead of time and she was flexible to changing dates with encounters and dives when either the government or weather wouldn't allow our planned days to be optimal. She was such a great person to work with in person and on the phone and in emails. Can't say enough good about her! We even had an issue where my wife and I had issues on the shallow water dives and they recommended that it might be in our best interests not to do the dep dives we had booked. Who does that anymore? Looks after the best interests of their customers? We wholeheartedly agreed with her and she made all the changes and got us hooked up with other activities! The dives were awesome and the day we went out to see the whale sharks was great as well! There were so many boats around each shark it was difficult to capture moments with the sharks one on one without seeing another diver group in the background but still very cool. The external photographer that was provided was not their usual staffed one so instead of the high def water cameras or dramatic 8K videos we expected, we had a Hodge-podge of lower resolution random videos and pics. He was a great guy, though the videos did take actual weeks of begging to finally be uploaded to a google drive I had to pay for once I got home. I realize the island doesn't have the best internet but ... yeah. Overall I wouldn't have made any other choice and I love Aqua Adventures!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The boat captain was on point for drop off to maximize whale shark views. And the chicken sandwich was the best. The team made sure the kiddos in the boat got to see the animals too,

Worth It !!! - The Team did a great job making our swimming with whale sharks exceptional. The Captain split off from the other whale shark boats, and he found a shark feeding and we snorkeled with one shark on our own which added to the magic.

wonderful experience - the captain was very personable and enthusiastic, and was very good at ensuring you had a very good view of the sharks. the guide was also very kind and good at his job.

One of the best days ever! - My children ages 11 and 14 went and I had the best time. First of all the crew were great! They were knowledgeable and patient and made the best ceviche! One person on the boat was too scared to go in when it was her turn and they took great care of her to give her a second and even third chance. My kids had the best time and it was an experience I will never forget. Getting the video was well worth the money and we tipped generously as our captain and guide were worth it.

Misleading - I did see a whale shark. My problem was the description clearly says "2" jumps if sharks are found. The captain decided we were only doing 1 jump. The ad does not say 1 to 2 jumps. I understand it is a wild animal but there were several being circled by boats, could have easily done a second jump. Feel this was misleading and should have been explained prior to booking. I gave it a 3 because we did see a Whale Shark for prob 2 min.
