Fun Outing for the Day - My husband really wanted to try snorkeling and Cancun Adventures provided the perfect opportunity for him to do so. After being picked up at out hotel by the tour company, we arrived at the pier ready to board the catamaran where we were welcomed aboard by our guide and the crew with drinks of our choice. We were taken to the dive location located near the MUSA underwater sculptures at Punta Sam where those who wanted to snorkel could do so for 20 minutes. While that might not seem like a lot of time for experienced snorkelers, it was just the right amount for a newbie like my husband. Cancun Adventures provided all of the snorkeling equipment needed while my husband brought his own underwater camera. With their help, he managed to capture some really great pictures. For those who preferred to stay on board (like me), the crew kept the atmosphere lively with music and refreshments as we sailed toward the pick-up point. It was a fun, relaxing atmosphere with a great view of the sea and Isla Mujeres in the distance. Additional time in the water was provided for anyone who wanted to do a little swimming close to the catamaran. A guide rope was provided for those who to get into the water but wanted to stay close to the boat. Lunch was then provided on board. After snorkeling, we headed to Isla Mujeres, where we had about two hours of free time to swim, explore, shop, or dine at one of the many local restaurants. The day ended with our return to Cancun and transportation back to our hotel. We were tired but very satisfied withy the day's outing.

Great Day Over to Isla Mujeres on a Catamaran - We did the ADULTS ONLY ISLA MUJERES catamaran tour with my wife and 2 adult children aged 18 and 20. We had a great day on the boat, the water of Isla Mujeres was magical. We did a short snorkel that exceeded my expectations give some prior reviews I read. We spent time anchored off beautiful north shore. We then were dropped off to visit the island. We ended up walking back to the north shore and rented a couple of loungers and an umbrella where we spent more time in the beautiful water. The mates on board were terrific and lively. Overall, for us I would opt to spend more time anchored off the north shore on the boat or to see more of the island from the boat (as I have bareboat chartered catamarans myself in the US and BVI). We really enjoyed ourselves. I only wished we could have actually sailed, as this is normally what we look for on or boat days, but given the timeline they are on, i suspected we would be motoring and this was indeed the case.

Unforgettable Day in Paradise – Highly Recommend! - What can I say? This excursion was nothing short of amazing! The journey out into the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean Sea was absolutely breathtaking. Playa Norte—wow! Soft white sand and crystal-clear water made it feel like a dream. Isla Mujeres is a beautiful island that everyone should experience at least once. Enrique was awesome—fun, attentive, and full of energy! The entire crew was friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great time from start to finish. This was truly one of the highlights of my trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Excellent private walk in catamaran, good atmosphere, safe and with stops and spectacular views. - You can snorkel and see fish and artwork under the sea.We are taken to island women with enough time to tour the island, know its beaches, walk its streets and tour the island in a golf cart. Absolutely recommended!

A New Friend AND a Great Room - I don't often write reviews but today I definitely need to write one. I reserved a suite for my family. The reservation was a room with a balcony. Sherri, the AMAZING person at the front desk, called me to let me know that she didn't have a room with a balcony but she did have a room that would accommodate my family's needs. I checked in and Sherri greeted me like an old friend! We needed extra bedding and towels and she made it happen! The rooms were nice, bed was comfy, I have a new friend, and a new favorite place to stay! Thank you, RedRoof Plus, for an employee that greets me as a friend, for the great night stay, and for making breakfast so that I didn't have to! Bobbi J. Green River, WY

Good but beware of photographer - Diego and the staff were great. Lunch was a sandwich but it was clearly made fresh and the bar was good. There was a photographer on board- the pictures he took were good but insanely overpriced. When he gave us the iPad to review the pictures, my husband was holding his phone looking at a football game and the photographer accused us of taking pictures on his phone to get out of paying for them. He told us he would be charging us $100 USD per photo taken. We both showed him that we did not take photos and he said he would keep that in mind. He was very aggressive and it was super off putting. This happened at the very end of the trip on the way home from the island (thankfully, or else it would have thrown off the entire day). That alone is the only reservation I would have with booking again. Perla Negra, the restaurant you dock was was meh. The food wasn’t great, fish wasn’t fresh, and there were people trying to sell us stuff right in front of the staff the entire time we were eating. Island itself is great just eat elsewhere!

I travelled solo on the... - I travelled solo on the adult only trip. People were young, loud and were given a stream of alcohol, which is fine for that vibe, it just wasn't for me. I should have gone for the family trip. Also the lunch was minimal for the price.

The boat, the crew, the... - The boat, the crew, the ride on the boat, the drinks, and the snorkeling were all great. The water is so clear and there were a lot of fish to see while snorkeling. We also saw a few turtles and stingrays. The "gourmet" lunch is nothing but a semi saugy chicken or vegetarian sandwich. I wasn't expecting gourmet even though that is what is listed on the ad, but at least provide some chips or some other food item if you want to advertise gourmet lunch. Or just say a chicken sandwich. Be prepared to be stuck Isla Mujeres for the duration of the trip. They dropped us off at the pier and we were on the island for about 2 1/2 hours. There is literally nothing to do on the island except ride around on a golf cart, eat at a low end restaurant, or shop at a typical mexican town street store and buy cheap trinkets. We would have liked to spend more time on the boat and snorkeling. The only other item I didn't like is the peer pressure and haggling at the end of the trip for large tips. The tour is $129 per person. Why is a large tip needed for each person.
