  As evening descends, the forest comes to life. In the growing darkness, countless Yaeyama Hime fireflies begin their mesmerizing dance, creating a stunning scene often referred to as “natural illumination.”

Typical Tour Schedule
18:30 – Pick-up at Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal or your accommodation.

19:00 – Arrival at the firefly location. To protect the fireflies, light is strictly prohibited. Please ensure your smartphone screen is turned OFF!

19:30 – Fireflies start to glow gradually.

19:45 – Enjoy the peak viewing of the enchanting firefly display.

20:00 – Viewing concludes.

20:30 – Drop-off at Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal or your accommodation.

Note: Fireflies usually begin glowing about 30 minutes after sunset. The schedule may change based on the season and weather conditions.

Punctuality and Communication
Please be punctual. If you miss the meeting time without prior notice, your booking will be considered a cancellation, and cancellation fees will apply. If you anticipate being late, please contact us immediately.

Final Confirmation
The shop will reach out by the day before the tour to confirm the meeting place and time. Please provide a phone number or email address that can be reached within Japan and monitor your messages. If you do not hear from us by 6:00 PM the day before your tour, please contact us using the details provided on your ticket.

Safety Restrictions

Age Limit: Participants must be between 3 and 65 years old.

Health Restrictions: For safety reasons, we cannot accept bookings for pregnant individuals, children aged 0–2, or those with pre-existing medical conditions.

Weather Conditions
The tour will proceed in rainy weather. However, we may cancel the tour if field conditions are deemed unsafe.

Preparation and Conduct

Please use the restroom before the tour, as there are no facilities near the viewing site.

Participants under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to join.
