• Hafnarstétt 23 - The waters surrounding Húsavík are home to a variety of cetacean species, including the commonly seen Humpback and Minke whales, as well as rarer visitors like Blue, Fin, and Killer whales. White-beaked dolphins are also occasionally spotted on our tours. These magnificent creatures are truly awe-inspiring, and our dedicated team of whale-watching experts strives to offer guests an unforgettable adventure.

Beyond whale watching, our tours provide stunning views of the picturesque Icelandic coastline and opportunities to observe sea birds. The Atlantic Puffin is visible from May to mid-August. Our vessel, Moby Dick, offers a comfortable platform for wildlife observation. Our knowledgeable guides share extensive information about whales, their ecology, habitats, and other marine life.

During a typical whale-watching tour, we journey westward towards the Kinnarfjöll mountain range, where the highest peak is Syðri Háganga *(1284m). Across Skjálfandi Bay, sightings of Humpback whales are common, with occasional appearances by Minke whales and sometimes other species like Blue or Fin whales. We spend the remainder of our tour with the whales before returning to Húsavík after 2.5 to 3 hours.
