Day 1

Iquitos - Transfer to the city of Nauta.

• Begin the journey along the Marañón River, one of the main tributaries of the world’s largest river, aboard comfortable and safe traditional boats. This trip offers a stunning view of the river’s grandeur as it winds through the lush jungle. Travel time is approximately 3 hours. During the journey, there is a chance to see pink and gray dolphins, known as “bufeos,” and various bird species.

Day 2

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - AMAZONIAN SUNRISE: Observe exotic birds during the early morning hours, an ideal time to see many bird species feeding along the riverbanks and witness the majestic sunrise over the national reserve.

• SWIMMING IN THE MARAÑÓN RIVER: After enjoying the wildlife, prepare to swim in the refreshing waters of the Marañón River, close to the pink dolphins.

Day 3

• CHAMBIRA CAMP: After breakfast, move to another camp deeper in the jungle for the day.

• YANAYACU RIVER NAVIGATION: Board the “peque peque” boat to navigate the Yanayacu River, a remote area with rich biodiversity, lush forests, winding rivers, and unique wildlife.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - PIRANHA FISHING: Engage in an artisanal fishing tour, learning local fishing techniques from the guide. (Taste the fish caught).

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - MONKEY WATCHING: Observe different monkey species in their natural habitat within the reserve’s beautiful landscape.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve - NIGHT NAVIGATION: Sail on the Pucate River in a canoe to observe caimans and learn about their lifestyle and ecological role. Spot fireflies and enjoy the Amazon jungle’s nocturnal sounds.

Return to the base camp in the “Buenos Aires” community.

Plaza de Armas de Iquitos - Return to Nauta and then back to Iquitos.
