Iquitos - Begin the day with a morning departure from Iquitos City, traveling by car to the port town of Nanay (Bellavista), where the Rio Nanay converges with the Rio Amazonas. Embark on a boat journey downriver for 70 KM (approximately 2 hours). During this riverboat trip, there is a wonderful chance to spot caimans, turtles, herons, pink river dolphins, snakes, and a variety of other flora and fauna along the riverbank.
Iquitos - Visit Monkey Island, a small island located about 15 minutes from the Maniti Lodge, home to a large number of monkeys in their natural environment. This visit offers a unique opportunity to observe and interact with a diverse range of monkeys, including the Sloth, Goeldi’s monkey, Tamarin monkey, Capuchin monkey, Yellow-Handed Titi monkey, Masked Titi monkey, Cebidae monkey, Wooly monkey, Squirrel monkey, Spider monkey, South American Coati monkey, and many more! In addition to the various monkey species, Monkey Island is also home to alligators, turtles, toucans, macaws, parrots, and more.

Spend the night here with excellent opportunities to observe various wildlife species in their natural habitat.
