The day tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or hostel in Rio, depending on your location. The first destination is Christ the Redeemer (ticket included), where an early arrival helps avoid the crowds.
Following this, the tour proceeds to Parque Lage, located at the base of Corcovado. This area is part of the Tijuca Forest, one of the largest urban rainforests globally, and is rich in history and charm.
Next, enjoy lunch at a traditional “pay-by-weight” restaurant, a typical dining experience in Rio (not included).
The tour continues with a visit to the exterior of Maracanã Stadium, followed by a trip to the Centro to see Cinelândia (Municipal Theater) from the outside and explore the Municipal Cathedral from the inside.
The journey then takes you to Santa Teresa, a delightful bohemian neighborhood in Rio, celebrated for its art, colonial architecture, and the famous yellow tram.
The tour also includes a visit to the vibrant Selarón Steps, a renowned Rio landmark.
To conclude the day, you can choose to be dropped off at your accommodation or at Sugar Loaf (ticket not included) to take the cable car and enjoy the breathtaking view and sunset from the summit.

From the beginning the team was super attentive and left everything organized, without headaches, were totally willing to make the tour wonderful and unforgettable. During the tour gave to enjoy a lot, it was light, fun and with that climate of travel between friends, I loved every visit. Travel in Couple - I made an amazing tour of Rio de Janeiro with the Brazil expedition. Everything was very well organized: the transport was comfortable and punctual, the guide super attentive and knowledgeable of the history of the sights, and the route contemplated the most important places in the city such as the Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Bread and the Escadaria Selarón and others. Worth every moment! I recommend to those who want to know Rio in a practical and pleasant way.

Unforgettable experience in Rio with Brazil Expedition - I had the incredible experience of doing a special Father’s Day tour with the Brazil Expedition Tour, and it was simply unforgettable! 💙
From the beginning, the staff was attentive, organized and very helpful. Our guide was super friendly, knew every detail of the history and culture of Rio, and made every stop special.
The scenario was perfect: we started at Christ the Redeemer, visited beautiful viewpoints in Santa Teresa, the Escadaria Selarón, the Lapa, the Cathedral, the Royal Library, the Maracanã and ended in the charming Park Lage. Each place was lived in a unique way, and the care of the Enterprise made all the difference.
Seeing my father, who had never gone to Christ, be moved in front of that sight was a gift that I will keep forever. Thank you, Brazil Expedition Tour, for turning this Father’s Day into a historic day in our family!
I recommend with closed eyes for those who want to know Rio in a safe, fun and exciting way!

The best tour in Rio de Janeiro. I visited all the most important places in half a day! - If you come to Rio de Janeiro for the first time, this is the best tour you can take! Everything is easy, comfortable, you feel that they have the experience to make you feel the deep Rio de Janeiro. I thought about to visit these places by myself but it would take me a lot of time and money on ubers.
They pick you up at your place and you visit with this tour (Big Dude Tour) the most important places in the city: Christ the Redeemer, the Selarón Steps, Downtown (Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, the Cathedral, Confeitaria Colombo, Real Gabinete Português de Leitura ) Sambodromo, Estádio do maracanã, Parque Lage and Sugarloaf mountain.
Ricardo is the best guide in the city for sure! He made us to understand Rio and its culture. Marcelo the driver, was very funny!
What I loved from this tour is that EVERYTHING WAS EASY. And I had time to enjoy and take pictures.

MEU RELATO SINCERO - My experience was simply INCREDIBLE!!!
I was sought at the right time, the van that sought super clean, comfortable, the super attentive guide, the super complete tours, the time needed at home place....
I was really very surprised with the organization, the structure, and every place I went to!!! This tour provided me with an experience of knowing little pieces of Rio that I would definitely not go alone!!!
The fact of being taken and sought in every place makes a TOTAL difference!!!
I really recommend that WORLD do!!! MTO is worth it!! Enjoy a whole day in various places, and still come home early with time to enjoy the afternoon and the evening!!! Only gratitude for having lived this!!!!✨✨✨✨✨

Best experience! I recommend a thousand times! - I recently made the city tour of Rio de Janeiro with the Brazil Expedition and simply loved every second of the experience!
From the beginning, everything was done with great comfort and safety — we were picked up and left at the hotel, which made our day a lot easier. The team was super punctual and organized.
Guides João Henrique and Marcelo were amazing: attentive, caring and super fun, leaving the walk light and full of good laughs. Our guide was trilingual, bringing valuable information and curiosities about each point visited.
I also loved the fact that the van brought together tourists from different parts of the world — it was a great opportunity to practice my English and Spanish and exchange experiences with people from different cultures.
The script was very well planned: we arrived early at Christ the Redeemer, which allowed us to enjoy without queues (which, on our own, we would hardly have achieved). And we still got help from João Henrique to take amazing photos!
We visit iconic places like the Selarón Stairs, the Lage Park, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Municipal Theatre (outside) and more. All with safety, comfort and a wonderful vibe.
If you want to experience Rio in a peaceful, safe and enriching way, I highly recommend Brazil Expedition. A complete and unforgettable experience!

Very good! - We really liked the information passed through the guide. Very interesting to know more about the history of Rio de Janeiro. The van was very good and we also loved the choice of sights on the route. I recommend and would do it again!
