• Glenfarclas Distillery - Known for its exceptional whisky, Glenfarclas is one of the few remaining family-owned distilleries. As with most distilleries, tours can fill up quickly, so booking in advance is advised.

• The Glenlivet Distillery - With a recently upgraded visitor center and a comfortable lounge-style tasting area, Glenlivet is celebrating its 200th anniversary by offering a wider range of tours and experiences for 2024. Although slightly more expensive than Tomatin and Glenfarclas, their experiences start at £25 per person and last approximately 90 minutes.

• Cardhu Distillery - Located in one of Speyside’s most picturesque areas, Cardhu is beautifully situated on the hills of the north side of the Spey Valley, offering stunning views to the south. It features a modern visitor center and highlights the historical contributions of women in the whisky industry.

Cardhu offers a variety of affordable tours and experiences ranging from £21-£28, with a special connoisseur tour priced at £60.
