Glasgow in One Day - We had an amazing day with Alba Experiences! James, our guide, was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and went out of his way to make sure everyone—including those with mobility challenges—was comfortable and included. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with rich history and fun: a castle, a beautiful church, a stop at a distillery, and even a chance to see Highland cows (a highlight!). James kept us on schedule without ever making the tour feel rushed. We learned so much, laughed a lot, and had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this tour and James in particular!

Best tour ever - James is the best tour guide we have ever had ! Great history information, wonderful stories, entertaining personality, wonderful voice, and Bonny Bonny looks. Went to some beautiful off the beaten path places. He made sure we were being treated like Scottish royalty. He was able to join us inside Sterling castle for history and interesting tales. Took pictures for us and treated us to a glam of whiskey by the edge of lock lomond in a traditional Scottish vessel. Got to feed and pet the Highland Coos and do a bit of shopping at one stop. Very good driver and just a wonderful person.

Fabulous Day! - I cannot recommend James enough!! We had a fantastic day with him, from beginning to end. The tour was well planned out, with a good mix of scenery & history and just the right amount time spent at each stop. It’s obvious the love that James has for Scotland & that he takes great pride in sharing its history & customs, along with a few folklore stories & current events thrown in as well. Especially loved the special cheers we shared from the friendship cup at the Falls of Falloch. James was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable & a phenomenal guide. I would highly recommend James / Alba Experiences & he will be my 1st call if I am ever lucky enough to return to Scotland.

Magical and Inspiring - James, the owner of Alba Experiences was wonderful! So wonderful, he left us all wanting more. He is so proud, knowledgeable, and in love his country which made our shore excursion fantastical. He was rich with information and showed us a great deal of his favorite spots which made our experience magical!

Best tour ever - Alba Excursions was absolutely amazing!James was an absolute gem. This was our favorite excursion! We were able to see beautiful sites including Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond. The tour was GREAT because of James. His personal style made the tour extra special. He took us to extra points of interest that were secrets to tourists. He taught us so much about the country and culture. We had a blast and can’t wait to return to take another tour with him.

BEST TOUR EVER - This tour was by far the best tour!We were greeted by James wearing his authentic family kilt. If you are lucky enough to have James as a tour guide, prepare to be mesmerized. He is a guide/historian/ soon to be famous actor/ photography expert/ kind human being all rolled into one individual. On this tour you we were taken to the beautiful Stirling Castle, to beautiful lochs, to feed highland coos, and so much more! Our group cannot stop talking about how exquisite this tour was. We cannot wait to plan another vacation in Scotland. We will be calling Alba Tours !

Scotland Perfection - Our guide James was what made this beautiful tour perfect! Anyone could enjoy Loch Lamont, & Stirling Castle on their own but James made the experience extraordinary. There were 4 of us experiencing Scotland for the first time and every detail of this tour was coordinated, timely, and well executed. There were personal touches, his wealth of Scottish history, ability to answer any and all questions made us feel like we experienced the most we possibly could in a day. The stops we made not only to Loch Lamond and Stirling had us excited beyond measure. This is a perfect tour for anyone! Would highly recommend!

Amazing Scotland with an Amazing Tour Guide! - I wish I could give this tour a 10!!! It’s a five star plus tour at minimum (coming from a teacher!) James is so knowledgeable and has such a passion for his homeland and its rich culture. We experienced so much of Scotland in one day. It had something for everyone- beautiful scenery and nature, history, animal interaction, poetry, amazing photo shoots, folklore, and Outlander highlights. It was spectacular. James has found his calling and lucky are those who get to spend a day or more with him!

Greenock, Stirling Castle, Loch Lamond, Bannockburn, Luss, and Highland Cattle - Great experience overall! Great communication prior to docking in Greenock, custom made the tour to fit our tight time in Scotland. Very informative! Talked about history, movies, and tv such as Outlander, Game of Thrones, Mandalorian, and Braveheart with Scotland as the theme and used for beautiful landscapes. Knew the history of the area. Knew the ins and outs of the area to get us around quickly when needed. We were back on the ship with plenty of time to spare and we even made an additional stop because we had extra time. The vehicle was comfortable with water waiting for us and provided us with a drink of whiskey as well. He dressed my son in a traditional kilt. We were able to stop and feed Highland Cattle
