This name originates from words carved into a stone near the intersection of the A83 and B828, by soldiers who constructed the original military road in 1753. - Inveraray Castle - The tour price includes admission to Inveraray Castle, the residence of Clan Campbell.
- Inveraray - Following the castle visit, there is time to explore this 18th-century town, known for its distinctive white-washed buildings. The town is a splendid example of Scottish Georgian architecture. Visitors can also enjoy a leisurely lunch here.
- Kilchurn Castle - From Inveraray, the journey continues to the impressive Kilchurn Castle, located at the head of Loch Awe against a backdrop of towering mountains. There will be a short stop for photos of this mid-15th-century fortress.
- Luss - The final stop of the day is on the shores of Loch Lomond at the charming highland village of Luss. This conservation village is a popular destination for tourists and pilgrims, having been a Christian settlement for over 1500 years. Evidence of Viking raids in 1263 can be seen in the ‘hogback’ grave, a stone sculpture, in the ancient churchyard. The interior of Luss Parish Church, founded by the Celtic Saint MacKessog, has been beautifully restored, featuring a unique timber roof design and exquisite stained glass.

Great day - WOW - what a great day. We were picked up promptly at the port and taken around Loch Lamond, a guided tour of Inveraray Castle, an hour stop for lunch (own expense) in the charming town of Inverarary and onto Luss. We find a surprise bag on our seats filled with lots of local goodies. Our driver was fun and knowledgeable. A great day (despite the wee bit of rain). Don't hesitate to book this shore excursion trip.

Magical - One of the best tours I have been on. The scenery was just stunning and ample time was given at advertised stops plus a few extras were made along the way! The most important part of my experience was that they were true to their website promise.... Guaranteed departures, You book, you go! I was notified a few weeks before that I was the only person booked on my chosen tour. I, of course thought they would cancel on me with that being the case but no they didn't. I was given the option to change if I didn't feel comfortable being by myself or still go ahead with my tour. Communication back and forth was easy and replies were quick. When my ship docked I was indeed still the only guest and my tour guide, Dave was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and I had the most amazing day!! Thankyou you so much!
