- 3rd fl, 55-1 Insadong-gil - In this workshop, participants will not only learn the art of beautiful writing but also experience the joy of using a calligraphy brush, creating a lasting memory of their travels—far more meaningful than a smartphone photo. This activity promotes relaxation and offers a glimpse into local Korean culture.
The instructor will explain Hangul, the reasons behind King Sejong’s invention of Korean consonants and vowels, and demonstrate the materials and their usage.
Participants will be introduced to two different styles in Hangul and will have time to practice lines, their names, and any notes they wish to write on their scrolls. This experience will deepen their understanding of Korea.
