Must do pick - It is much better to get the collective tickets instead of separate tickets. The experience is worthwhile, where the zoo is very unique and spacious, and the Funcular facilitates the trip in a very well-organized manner and low-interval trips schedule.

Great terrain, very worth seeing! - We went to the zoo with rather low expectations as a stopover on the way up the mountain. And we were totally surprised: The terrain is totally beautiful, the individual enclosures of the animals seem overall very generous and close to nature. Highly recommended as an excursion destination for the family!

Fantastic Zoo - Fantastic zoo! Amazing to see such a variety of animals, well kept and tidy zoo! Some enclosures on the smaller side for the birds however none looked unhappy! Worth a visit!

A zoo different from usual, surrounded by nature - The Alpenzoo is really very beautiful because you can see the commitment to create the most suitable environments for each animal, here there are no narrow cages: ibex, wolves and birds live in spaces that recall their natural habitat. We also saw the bear, but in this period it was a bit "sleepy" and was sleeping blissfully behind a plant, so we were able to see only part of it! Overall it is a very nice and pleasant experience, recommended for those who want to see mountain animals in a respectful setting

Steep - We really enjoyed this zoo however it’s very steep. One person in our group couldn’t make all the hills so they had to stay at the bottom. Just be prepared to get a workout in at the zoo.

zoo - The zoo is hard to walk. It is very hilly. Most of the animals were not visible or their holding area had construction. There are a lot of birds.

Hard walking. - I went here early one day. I found a lot of the animals to not be out or visible. It is very strenuous walking with the steep hills. It’s a bit pricey for a smaller zoo. I did leave very tired after about 90 minutes.

Nice zoo without more - We booked on the internet which avoids queuing. Quite a few animals are not visible, on the other hand birds vultures fish ibex and elk are visible on the farm. For the funicular ride to the zoo it is almost under tunnel. Nice with kids if not bof!

Awful! A sad bear and a few haggard birds - Only went because it was included with the Innsbruck card. Don’t bother! A poor bear on his own in a small enclosure. Birds with not enough space to fly and poorly maintained other areas.
