• Tanjung Puting National Park - Visit Pondok Tangguy, a rehabilitation center for former captive orangutans, and witness feeding times around 9:00 a.m. The second stop is at Tanjung Harapan Feeding Camp after lunch. Cruise down the river to explore the magnificent mangroves, nipah palms, and wildlife along the Sekonyer River while lunch is prepared on the boat. Observe proboscis monkeys and other primates along the river. The boat is a traditional wooden riverboat, approximately 17 m x 3.8 m, with a roof forming the upper deck, offering views of the rainforest as it passes by. Simple mattresses, pillows, meals, bottled mineral water, and basic toilet and shower facilities are available on the boat.
