Unforgettable - The experience is highly recommended, it has been amazing. And all thanks to our guide Wira, lovely and made us beautiful photos! The driver meets you at the hotel, in our case Indra, very helpful and respectful, who takes you to take a Jeep. Here our driver Nina, who is a lovely girl, takes us to the beginning of the walking route to climb to the volcano. Halfway down the road you will be served a hot breakfast and continue until you see the sunrise at the top. Don't hesitate to do it!

Totally worth it! - Amazing trip! Even too crowded, totally worth it! Done the sunrise and black lava trip. Yoga is a high skilled driver and amazing photographer!

Sweet Jeep driver - We leave at 02.00 pm and visit coffee plantation before heading into base camp. At the base we met Ketut as our Jeep driver. He was sweet and high skilled driving across black lava mt batur.

Sunset trek with Wayan - I am not early wake up person so choose sunset trek instead. Zero crowds there were the only me and the guide on the volcano. Such a nice experience with great sunset view. Guide Wayan was sportive and friendly all the way.

Worth it! - Overall, it was an amazing experience to view the sunrise so early in the morning. Lava tour was wonderful with beautiful views for the photos. However, breakfast was not well organised as expected . Our guide/driver Kom, was really friendly and made sure we had a great time. Even though we had to wake up early in the morning, definitely worth it!

Yoga really makes this tour great! - The Good: The best thing about thr trip was Yoga, the jeep driver! Very sweet, kind and answered all my questions! He made sure I was comfortable and also took some great pictures!! The Bad: I wouldn't book this again as a single traveler. They make you pay for the price of two people going, then put you in a car with other people. That really takes away from the "jeep" experience and makes it kinda weird. You really can't sit on top of the jeep because someone is going to miss out. They should also specify that "breakfast" is a simple breakfast (banana sandwich) So you can bring your own if you want to.
