Totally recommended - We did the Ijen trip in the morning, and it was absolutely fabulous! We didn't choose the blue fire hike to see the sunrise, and what a choice it was not to have done so! The driver, Bhimo, picked us up, and then we met with another fantastic guide to get to the top of Ijen between 9 / 10 AM. We were almost alone, as all the night crowds had already gone. We were very cared for during our trip and learnt so much with both guides about Ijen itself, Balinese culture, traditions... They were really talkative and nice. We had time for lunch after the hike, and then we were dropped off at Banyuwangi harbour to get our ferry to Bali. Bhimo even accompanied us till the dock so we wouldn't get lost (A lovely gesture) and managed a taxi to get us once in Bali. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Totally recommend the agency, with whom we also did a couple of more tours during our stay which were also ten out of ten. We would totally book with them again!

A never to be forgotten experience - It was excellently planned and executed. Every hotel where they had booked for us was excellent. Rama, our driver cum guide who has also become our friend now , was our perfect travel partner. Always on time, ready to greet us with a broad smile. This was our second trip with them and would want to go back with the same team. Overall a wonderful experience.

Amazing experience - The tour had amazing views of a unique side of Indonesia. The mountains were breathtaking. Our tour guide Rama was very patient and helpful for the duration of the trip, making sure we got anything we needed.

Smooth Journey: Exploring Ijen and Bromo - The tour has been a smooth ride from start to end. Our tour guide Bhimo handled all the details such as hotel check in, admission, health certificate etc. He was very helpful, friendly and thoughtful. His driving skills were amazing. Would recommend doing the tour with him when booking via Borobudur Sunrise. Ijen worked well as we got a head start and could check out the crater before the main crowd arrived. The waterfall was our second stop. We got a local guide showing us the falls and providing some information. Regarding Bromo, we went to the top with a Jeep which was an interesting experience. Ijen and Bromo are interesting travel locations but have to be shared with lots of other tourists.

Trip to Mt Bromo ( May 2026) - We had amazing experience . We had booked the trip to MT Bromo for our family in last week of May 2026 in advance and stayed at PROBOLINGGO. Our Guide BHIMO was very knowledgeable and helped us plan best . He made it in time to our hotel. His punctuality and early guidance for trip preparation helped us . On our way during the trip, BHIMO was super helpful, we reached to viewing point at KING KONG HILL well in time . Our guide BHIMO helped us in clicking amazing pictures of the sunrise. I had trouble trekking up the hill and Our guide BHIMO helped me trek comfortably. Over all an amazing trip with lots of fond memories with wonderful people in a wonderfully beautiful country. Highly recommended trip !

Great trip of East Java volcanoes - This was a great trip to two natural wonders of East Java. It was a little demanding with lack of sleep and in particular the nightly Ijen hike, but well worth it. Hotels booked - one in a village near Bromo and one in Bondowoso were very nice. The best part was our driver and guide Bhimo. The places are beautiful but as a result can be a bit busy - Bhimo made sure we were among the first ones everywhere, got us the best spots, managed everything expertly and was always there for us. We saw many people arriving too late to make it into the Ijen crater for the blue flames or to Bromo for good viewing spots - didn't happen to us. When we arrived in the Bromo village the afternoon before the main trek we were in a mood to explore. As we set out on foot (which it turns out would be a very silly idea), Bhimo immediately noticed us and offerred to drive us around for an extra trip around some scenic spots which turned out to be amazing. Absolutely recommend this guy - he also told us lots of interesting things during the long car drives and he made the trip an overall one of the best experiences on our vacation.

Seamless from start to end - Fantastic experience from start to finish. We booked the Ijen & Bromo tour directly through watsapp and paid with an invoice and bank transfer - easy. They answered every question we had and tailored the tour to our travel needs. Other than the experiences themselves (which in my mind need no explanation other than amazing) our highlight was our driver Bhimo - what a guy! Bhimo was reliable, attentive, fast but a very safe driver and got us everywhere we needed to be early if not on time. His English was great and he answered a lot of our random questions on those long drives, provided us with endless bottled water, played our music choices, always told us to let him know when we needed a toilet or food break - couldn’t have asked for a better driver! The hotels we stayed in were lovely (Illira & Manis Ae) extremely comfy beds and modern, Illira had a pool and gym which was a plus and Manis Ae had stunning views and was super close to the start which meant we had as much sleep as possible.

Perfect Bromo Ijen tour experience - We did 3d2n Bromo ljen tour with Bhimo. It was honestly THE best private tour experience I had in my 2 years living in Indonesia. He was always punctual, worked hard no matter time of day to make us feel special. He also speaks very good English so it's easy to discuss all the details you can be interested in and not just get basic information. Bhimo is really obsessed with making you feel comfortable starting from clean comfortable car and water always by your side and ending by taking you to best spots to make photos and putting you in first group to hike to ljen so you can have best experience with only a handful of people. Would be glad to do another tour with him in the future and strongly recommend doing tours with him to everyone, you won't be disappointed!

lovely tour! - This tour was an overall great experience! We were accompanied by Agung and then Rama, who were both lovely and made our tour even more fun than it already was. We were always picked up on time, everything that was planned took place exactly the way the initiary said, Rama even showed us around towns a little bit and helped us buy a Sim card. The hiking tours themselves were organised well too, with the more exhausting on being on day 2 and the easier one on day 3. We are very happy with our choice of tour and would recommend this exact one to anyone wanting to see the Ijen crater and Mount Bromo!
