• Swissair Flight 111 Memorial - Located about 1 km north of Peggy’s Cove, the Whalesback Memorial features two granite stones. One stone has three carved notches representing the flight number “111,” and its orientation points toward the crash site. The second stone aligns with the Bayswater Memorial across the bay.
