This is a unique and fun... - This is a unique and fun hands-on cultural experience. We learned about block printing and then did our own block printing. The owner, Rishi, was a great host and teacher, and he and his staff made us feel comfortable and even kindly and patiently helped fix my printing missteps!

An educational and fun experience printing your own fabric your ow - I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Rishi Raj Jolly ,( the boss) Surbhi and all the staff at Jaipur Woodblock Printing for a great time.
I made a 2.5 metre piece of my own design and colours.
I really enjoyed myself 😊
The staff explained the whole process and the equipment to me.
I arrived at 11.00 am and left 4 hours later.
Surbhi was an excellent teacher and guided me. It's a little tricky but it is an authentic piece complete with it's mistakes.
They provided me with bottled water and green tea which was delicious 😋
I highly recommend this workshop.
You will need to organise your own transport to and from the venue which it relatively near the airport.
There are various items for sale in the small office. I bought a gorgeous toiletry bag 😍

Fun afternoon activity in Jaipur - My friend and I are traveling with an older kid and teenagers, and we had a very enjoyable afrernoon learning about block printing. Everyone here was so nice and helpful, and I loved how each of our prints turned out very unique. I highly recommend this activity!

A great day full of creativity - What a day! Today I had the honour of printing a scarf with Rishi, the owner of the company. He explained to me in great detail the production of the inks, the stamps and the working process, so that no question remained unanswered. Together with him and his staff, I was able to gradually complete the work steps and actually take an absolute unique piece with me.
During the work there was time for interesting conversations, there were snacks during the break and so Rishi arranged an all-round successful day. So I can absolutely recommend this activity for everyone. All thumbs up! Thank you very much!

A truly wonderful day at Jaipur Woodblock Printing - Had such an amazing day doing the woodprint workshop. Rishi and the team were super informative about every step of the process, and very helpful in aiding us to complete our own personal pieces! Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Jaipur !

Fantastic workshop! Rishi, the factory owner personally conducted the workshop and taught and helped us. - We had a fabulous experience at Jaipur Woodblock Printing. Rishi arranged a workshop that met our schedule and charged a very reasonable $30 per person for a workshop that in our case lasted about four hours and included tea, water and snacks. He provided information about the various colors used in the block prints showed us all of the block designs possible, explained the process and set us up and assisted us in printing large scarves. He and his staff were supportive and encouraging and helped us put borders on the scarves which required a special technique for the print to meet correctly at the corners and along the edge of the patterns.
We learned while we were very slowly making one scarf in a day the staff who were extremely hard-working produce 15 lengths of complexly printed fabric each day. We saw the beautiful products that Jaipur Woodblock Printing made and left with a scarf each as well as an appreciation for the complex beauty of handcrafted, wood block fabrics, and the amount of skill, expertise, and time required to make these products. We were also very impressed with Rishi’s hospitality and generosity.
It was a fabulous experience and if you have any interest in woodblock printing, I’m sure you will enjoy it as well.
