Great experience! - The experience was great! Boat ride very nice and very quiet which was very soothing. The meal was delicious and we were able to discover the methods of braiding coconut leaves as well as the braiding of yarn. The people who welcomed us were very kind! I highly recommend

A lovely relaxing boat trip - What a lovely, relaxing experience on this backwater boat ride which was made all the more enjoyable by the delightful guide Gowri who was excellent. She is a great ambassador for the company! It was also so interesting to see the demonstration of rope making from coir and mats made from palm leaves by Omana who was so skilful and lovely! Thank you!

Great day trip - Really enjoyed the day. Picked up from kochi homestay just before 9. Took an hour to get there. I was solo but there were 7 people in total and was nice and friendly chatting to them. Both the boat trips were great. Very peaceful and beautiful. Powered by bamboo stick pushing. I had a try too. Bring an umbrella if it’s really hot as the second narrow boat has no shade, tho that one is only 39 mins or so. Really tasty lunch home cooked. Great to see the traditional roof cover and rope being made too! Dropped back at homestay by 1630 Defo recommend

Great relaxing day - Really good, picked up on time in minibus. About an hour's drive to a small house in the jungle by a backwater. Great guide, great ride on boat powered by two men with poles. Travelled circuitous route going through different terrain past village workers. Back for lunch, delicious and hygienic. After a cup of tea onto a small pint down small waterways. Lots of birdsong and spotting birds. Didn't get bitten or stung, no flies, no bugs. Would highly recommend

Great tour, well worth the price - We had a group of about 18 and got picked up in a small bus from Fort Kochi. We drove a bit out of town and had two boat rides, one shaded and one open. Lunch was in between. Then there was a weaving and rope making demonstration. Overall it was great, but I recommend you bring a water bottle. There are no forced shopping stops, just an opportunity to buy a drink and snack from a little store if you want. For the price I thought it was a great tour, and I enjoyed meeting everyone in our group!

Excellent Backwater Experience - For the price, it was a well organized tour. It included hotel pickup and drop off, AC Taxi, English guide, boat ride in backwaters, lunch, tea, and demonstrations by local artisans. The organizers were courteous and helpful.
