Guests meet our wildlife biologist at the trailhead to the Corkscrew Marsh. You must provide your own transportation. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE AN UBER, LYFT or TAXI. You must drive your vehicle from the starting point to the finish point.

Saw a lot of reptiles! - This was a unique and fantastic experience. Our tour guide Leah was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot of interesting ecological information from her.
The Airboats and Alligators tour was fun. Saw a lot of wildlife, including two adult alligators sunning themselves less than 10 feet from where our airboat was gliding past. Ear protection was provided, and the guide stopped the airboat when we flit close to something to see, and we had no trouble hearing him. As was suggested, we wore windbreakers and were happy we did, as it is extra chilly when your traveling fast over water.
The reptile show at the end was an additional highlight, as we had the opportunity to hold a baby alligator and various snakes.
100% would recommend this tour.
Note that you do have to drive from the end of the hike to a totally different location for the airboat tour—it is not walkable, and it’s remote enough you can’t use ride shares.
Also be prepared with waterproof footwear for the short walk, regardless of season. Even in the dry winter, there was enough moisture on the trail that my shoes were wet at the end of the mile long walk.

Fantastic tour with a knowledgeable guide! Awesome experience! - This is tour was so much fun! You start out on a very easy nature hike (no hills, all grass), then you take an airboat ride and see loads of birds and some gators. At the end of the tour you get to learn about reptiles and even hold some! Our guide, Lia, was very knowledgeable about plants and animals and was able to answer all of our questions. You can tell she really cares about the reptiles. We were very happy with the entire tour and would recommend it to others. It was a good value for a tour that lasted nearly four hours.

The boat ride was extremely pleasant. Wasn’t sure what to expect from an air boat.

Great day in the Everglades - What a great experience. Our guide Rhett, led us on a walking trip thru a preserve. We saw a snake,a rare frog, large grasshopper and lots of birds. We then went to the air boat and Capt. Fred took us thru the everglades where we saw a lot of baby gators and a huge 14 ft. one. We came back to the dock and handled snakes with Rhett. It was a great day all around

Beautiful discovery of the flora and fauna of Florida - We had a great morning with Pete, who passionately introduced us to the natural environment of the reserve. We discovered plants, sightings of insects, snakes and birds. Pete was able to answer our questions. The discovery of the lake by propeller boat is a very good way to discover the local wildlife, especially birds, and many alligators!!! We highly recommend this visit, thank you again to Pete and Captain Fred!

Family fun day. - Rhett was our guide and we had a great trip to the Glades. He was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot. Two of our kids were not thrilled to be there and were a little afraid and he was very patient with all of us. The boat tour was also education, educational and fun. I highly recommend.

Nature in our backyard! - The biologist Pete was very knowledgeable. He also was personable. He taught us a lot of things about the area we live in and we saw lots of really interesting birds and plants. We also so loads of alligators!

The best eco tour of the Everglades from Western Florida - I had such a great experience. Our guide was so awesome and knowledgeable. I enjoyed all aspects of the tour but was surprised how special the reptile show at the end was. Highly recommend!
