• Imlil - The hike concludes in Imlil Centre with a refreshing cup of tea, offering a glimpse into the lives of the local Berber community, before returning to your accommodation in Marrakech with cherished memories of the enchanting Atlas Mountains.
• High Atlas Mountains Guide - Guided tours on Saturdays and Tuesdays also feature a visit to a local Berber farmer’s market, and we pass by Richard Branson’s Kasbah.

• Marrakech - Hassan, the tour guide, and Salah, the driver, will pick you up from your hotel/riad or meet you at a designated meeting point. From there, the journey to the Atlas Mountains begins, lasting 1.5 hours. The first stop is the charming village of Azrou, followed by a visit to a women’s argan oil cooperative, where you can enjoy fresh bread and oil with Moroccan tea.

The next destination is the scenic and lively valley of Imlil, known for its fast-flowing river, nut trees, and traditional Berber villages scattered throughout. The walk starts with a peaceful stop at a lovely home, where you can savor the breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace while enjoying a delicious Berber lunch lovingly prepared by the family.

After lunch, the walk continues along an easy trail offering a fantastic view of the entire valley. The driver will be ready to take you back to Marrakech, with an expected arrival in town around 6 p.m.

The day in Marrakech starts with a morning pickup from your accommodation, followed by a picturesque drive towards the Atlas Mountains. As the city fades into the distance, the journey takes you through lush valleys, traditional Berber villages, and stunning mountain scenery.

Upon reaching the High Atlas Mountains, a local guide will lead a guided hike along mountain trails, where you’ll pass terraced fields, walnut trees, and genuine Berber villages. The hike is of easy to moderate difficulty, with frequent stops for photographs and insights into Berber culture and daily life.

Following the hike, a traditional Berber house welcomes you for a homemade Moroccan lunch, lovingly prepared by a local family. Savor a freshly cooked tagine, salads, Moroccan bread, and mint tea, all served in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

After lunch, take a moment to enjoy the tranquil surroundings before beginning the drive back to Marrakech, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation in the early evening, carrying cherished memories of the Atlas Mountains and Berber lifestyle.
