Imbros Gorge, nature in its original form. - Well-organized trip to the beautiful Imbros Gorge with a wonderful nature experience. The subsequent stop in Frangokastello and its beautiful beach provided the necessary refreshment. A beautiful day that we will remember fondly thanks to our tour guide Tarek Blah. Elke and Michael

Top guide and very nice tour - We are on Crete for a week and decided on this tour to see a bit of the other side of the island. The walk through the gorge is a relaxed hike for people with normal fitness and sturdy shoes, which is only downhill for around 7.5km. There is rubble and loose stones, so sturdy shoes and surefootedness are required. Then you take the bus to Francokastello and you can eat or swim for 2 hours as you like. The special thing about the tour is the guide "Kostas". I have never seen a tour guide who enjoys his work so much and is so committed. Huge praise to Kostas and many thanks for the great company

Island beautiful, promises of the organizer not kept - Tour not in German as we had booked, but only in French and English. Gorge super, we had good footwear with us. Then Frangokastelo closed, although we were told that a visit was possible. Swimming opportunity disappointing. Initially, it was said that changing rooms and showers were available. The changing room is the restroom at the snack bar, showers directly in front of the snack bar surrounded by sand. Lounge chairs with umbrella €7, without one is guaranteed sunburn. The bus driver pointed this out beforehand - no wet clothes, no sand. Then improvements should be made on-site or information should be communicated better. Traveling to Crete for 36 years, disappointed for the first time. The island cannot be blamed for this poor service with good payment.
