• Puerto Plata Province - Our journey begins with a trip to the renowned “Damajagua waterfalls”, embarking on an approximately 35-minute trek through the Dominican forest, fording the river that leads us to the initial cascade of the dozen we will encounter.

An exhilarating BUGGY ADVENTURE in the community of Los Cacaos, lasting around an hour and 15 minutes, on muddy trails, over hills, and amidst the natural scenery, passing by a cattle ranch, spotting domestic fowl, and much more.

• Puerto Plata - San Felipe de Puerto Plata is the capital of the Puerto Plata province, situated on the northern Atlantic coast of the Dominican Republic. The city is famed for its beaches. The expansive Playa Dorada is flanked by resorts and an 18-hole golf course. The city’s historic center harks back to the colonial era and is anchored by the 16th-century Fortaleza San Felipe, a Spanish fortress that now houses historical and military relics.

WATERFALLS + BUGGIES OR HORSEBACK RIDING
This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience two different adventures in a single day.
The day begins with a visit to the renowned “Damajagua waterfalls,” where participants will embark on a 35-minute walk through the lush Dominican forest, crossing a river to reach the first of seven waterfalls. Each waterfall presents a distinct experience, as no two are alike. Upon reaching the final waterfall, guests can relax in a stunning natural pool.
Afterward, savor a delicious traditional Dominican lunch, followed by a visit to a small craft cigar factory and souvenir shop. Then, choose your next adventure:
Option #1: Enjoy a 35-minute horseback ride, taking in breathtaking natural landscapes.
Option #2: Embark on an exhilarating buggy adventure, lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, navigating dirt roads, small hills, and enjoying the scenery, including sightings of domestic birds and more.

• Must be in good physical shape. It is not recommended for people with cardiovascular problems, back problems and/or difficulty walking
• The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
• For the excursion to the buggies, driver must have a valid driver’s license and be 18 years of age.
• If the excursion is canceled for any reason, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
