Enjoyable ship excursion - This tour gave us a good overview of Porto Plata. Our guide, Yeury, was punctual, gave us some history of the town and threw in some fun facts. We were given enough time at all the stops. Highly recommend. RS

1/2 Day Monkey House and City Tour - This was, by far, the best excursion we did on our trip. We did the half day Monkey House and city tour. Junior was our drive and he was so kind, helpful, and friendly. The Monkey house was amazing! It was a highlight for all of us. We also enjoyed a visit to a chocolate factory. It was nice to have a clean, air conditioned vehicle and a capable driver to navigate the busy streets. If we are ever back in Puerto Plata, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with this company again!

Aribel was a great tour guide!! - We were all entertained by the monkeys and the city tour was very fun! Most of all though, Aribel our tour guide really took the time to show us around and explain the history. He made sure we felt safe and kept us cool in the van. Great tour!

- Aribel and Yeury tour operators and their drivers/guides are absolutely amazing, courteous and hospitable. I had initially only booked Monkey Home tour with them which was really early in the AM and wanted to add the half day city tour last minute. They arranged that especially for me and also dropped me off to my hotel which was out of their service area which made my life easy as I was living very far from Puerto Plata.
I did not have enough USD, which is needed for tipping in various places such as street food, taking pictures with a parrot on pink street, Marcorix Rum Factory tour amber cove or chocolate factory etc. So the drivers were more than willing to give me their cash (I obviously paid them every last dime at the end of the tour) but they were super nice and courteous about it. They also willingly and unpromptingly took a gazillion photos for me since I was all by myself. On the whole they made me feel very welcomed, at ease and safe. If I ever come back to DR I will tour with them again. Highly recommended.

Great way to "Monkey Around" ! - This experience is the best way to optimize a short time in Puerto Plata! The communication from the company before, during, and after the trip was AMAZING! The tour guide was excellent and each stop checked all our boxes for quality time, new memories, learning about the community, culture, etc......it was also entertaining for the whole family - young kids to older moms & dads! HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Fabulous Tour Day - We had the best time seeing the city with
Aribel! He was so kind, knowledgeable and even took so many pictures of us !! Aribel made us feel so special during the tour ! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that is visiting the port! We were taken around the city in an Airconditioned van.snd always comfortable on the tour. We were never rushed . It was a fabulous day !

Jerry did a great job... - Jerry did a great job taking us around Puerto Plato! My kids loved visiting Monkey Town! The facility took pictures for us while we were there! Definitely recommend this tour!

Great half day in Puerto Plata - This was a great tour. We booked last minute on a cruise because our cruise excursions were sold out and honestly, this was way better than the cruise excursion. We had a few stops at the same place an time as the cruise line and they were such large groups that this options was so much better.
Also, I was traveling with my mother who has a walking and our guide was so accommodating to her and her slow pace.
The tour took us to see the monkeys, the main town square area, a chocolate factory with tasting included and a nice drink at the end of the excursion. 100/100 would recommend.

Would do it again but there is definitely room for improvement. - Overall really fun. The monkey home was great but we were rushed off early because "your guide needs you, you have a ton more to see today" only to be taken to a gift shop with non-stop sales pitches and ended up waiting 30 min before we left when we could have stayed and had more fun with the monkeys. The city tour was good however locals at every stop begging for moniand getting board line aggressive when you say "no". This however was outside of the control of our guides so I do not hold it against them. Overall, I would do it again. 4/5.

Monkey/city tour review - Junior made our trip amazing. Monkeys were the best part of the trip. Wish the tour was a little shorter. Plaza was a bit overwhelming but still worth the stop.
