Merzouga - Embark on a journey to the enchanting Merzouga- Erg Chebbi Dunes! This seven-hour adventure takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, showcasing some of Morocco’s most captivating landscapes. Travel through the expansive cedar forest and visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Continue the drive with stops at Azrou, Midelt, and the Ziz Valley. Finally, arrive in Merzouga for an overnight stay and dinner at a hotel or riad.

Ifrane - Known as the Switzerland of Morocco, Ifrane is famous for its alpine-style architecture, nearby ski slopes, and forests. A stone lion statue near the leafy Parc la Prairie is a notable landmark.

Midelt - Midelt is a Moroccan town situated in the high plains between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain ranges. With a population of 55,304 as per the 2014 Moroccan census, Midelt acts as the commercial hub for a vast agricultural region.

Merzouga Desert - After visiting Midelt, explore the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga for an overnight stay and dinner at a hotel or riad.

Merzouga-Rissani Excursion-Camel Treks

Rissani - After breakfast at your hotel at 10:00 AM, embark on an exciting tour of the Merzouga area. With a private driver, visit the black volcanic rocks of marble fossils and the Gnawa in Khamlia village to learn about Gnawa music. Not far away, enjoy an excursion to Rissani city, founded by the Alaouite dynasty. Take a break for lunch on your own with Madfouna, also known as Moroccan Pizza.

Merzouga Desert - Return to the hotel or riad in Merzouga to rest and prepare for a 45-minute camel trek to a well-equipped camp. Experience Berber drumming and a starry sky, creating a perfect end to an extraordinary day. Enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at the Berber camp.

Merzouga - Rise early to witness the stunning Erg Chebbi sunrise! Afterwards, return by camel trek to the Merzouga Hotel or Riad for breakfast and freshening up before starting the journey back to Fez. With your driver, visit Tafilalt, Zawiya Moulay Ali Sharif, the dramatic Ziz Valley, and Imouzar Kandar. Arrive in Fez, the imperial city, in the early evening and be dropped off at your hotel or riad.
