• Idrijske Krnice 40a - In an underground fortress, we offer a tasting of Slovenian or international wines (based on the guest’s preference) paired with local food. All the food is sourced from nearby farms, including local cheeses, salami, and homemade bread. The tasting is conducted by a third-level sommelier.

We start with young cheeses and fresh wines selected by the sommelier. Following that, we sample mature and aged cheeses along with meat cuts, each paired with wines.

Throughout the tasting, we sample five different wines.

The enchanting plateau of Idrijske Krnice is nestled in untouched nature at an elevation of 1000 meters above sea level.

The property “House On The Hill” features three underground forts. The first fort serves as a sauna, the second is a wine tasting room, and the third remains a mystery.

These fortifications were constructed between the First and Second World Wars by the Italian army and are part of the Alpine Wall.
