Amazing trekking - It was so fun saw the orangutang from so close and also many other wildlife. Really friendly guides and after a tough trekking u come back with a chill rafting ride in the river back in to bukit lawang it was amazing definitly recommend.

A MUST ON YOUR PLAN - We though a lot before doing this experience because we are backpackers with a very low budget and sometimes excursions can be difficult to afford, but this one was totally worth it! Everything was just perfect and very well planned. They came at our guest house on time and they brought us in the jungle to spot some Orangutans and other wild animals and it was just incredible. Johnny and Endrick were well prepared and they explained us many interesting things, giving us that warm atmosphere that allow you to feel more with a friend than with a guide. One of them was always walking a bit forward to try to find the right spot for the animals and at the end of the day we managed to see 8 Orangutans (some with baby), Gibbons, Thomas monkeys and many others. Some were so close that we had to be careful to maintain the appropriate distance.
Also food was very good and I personally found my new favourite fruit: snakes fruit. Last but not least we ended the day rafting back to the village, adding more fun and gratitude to this great journey.
I honestly think that even if you are on a budget you should definitely save some money to come to do this experience because it’s unique and it was worth the whole trip.

Super team - I wanted to do an orangutan tour, but had to cancel it for health reasons.
They were very understanding.
I was arranged transportation from the airport to Bukit Lawang and back.
The people are all cool and super nice!!!

sooo funn - I really enjoyed joining this solo trip. The tour guide was very pleasant, informative, and patient throughout the journey. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable and memorable.

Lovely Day at Landak River - In July I went to Landak River with Izoen and his crew. We spent a very lovely day there together. They prepared delicious food on the open fire and even provided me with tempeh and sweet potatoes as I dont eat meat, which was no problem for them. We went swimming, sat in the river and enjoyed the nearby scenery. Izoen and his friends always made me feel safe and I really enjoyed their company. All of them are very open, vivid and just all in all lovely beings.

Go for it! 🤩 Super good experience! 🍀 - It was a super nice experience, the guides were very responsible, friendly, motivated and it was super fun and super beautiful to spend a day in the jungle! Watching the oerang oetangs and all other animals we saw, the beauty of the jungle and afterwards the rafting in the river was relaxing, fun and a adventurous way to make our way back to the village. I would definitely recommend to book with See Bukit Lawang, their guidance was super!!! 🌴🌳🦧🌿🦋🌴🍀💛

Amazing trip - Bukit Lawang is an amazing place. My friend and I spend 2 nights there with one day excursion and it was unbelievable. We saw orang-outans, leaf monkeys, Thomas monkeys... The guides we're super nice and they really know the jungle and the animals, the trees, it was really interesting to talk with them.
The price was 70€ per person, honestly it was worth it !
We both are really happy to have stayed here, we recommand at 100%

An unforgettable great adventure in the rainforest Indonesia - We had booked for 8 days vacation in Bukit Lawang and Lake Toba. We started our adventure at Medan airport. Our driver was already waiting. The route from Medan to Bukit Lawang takes about 4 h as it is such a long, winding and dark route. But the driver is professional and knows the road well.
After the trip, the team was already waiting for us, who organize our holiday and accompany us in various activities. They greeted us kindly and helped us bring our luggage to the accommodation at night in the rain.
We had a nice accommodation with a small shop and a few restaurant in the area. We had a beautiful view of the river and were right in nature with their sounds and smells.
We spent 2 days and 1 night in the rainforest and were accompanied by two guides Joni and Randy. They told us all about medicinal plants, the cinnamon tree, wild fruit and the rubber tree. The trail is extreme, but was not boring because we saw orangutans, giant ants, spiders, monkeys, rhino birds and other wild animals living freely in the forest.
During the breaks we were served food and tropical fruit in very pretty decoration. When we arrived at the night camp, we were immediately given warm tea, coffee and appetizers. The food and Service were fantastic even though we were in the middle of the jungle. The team did a good job and organized everything well. The last part of the way back we did with traditional rafting and that was awesome. We will never forget the whole experience.
Next we visited the city and looked at how tofu and tempe are made. Afterwards we bathed in a hot spring in the river and had our backs massaged by a waterfall. We recently visited the Elephant Sanctuary, but I have to say that the elephants there deserved more love.
On our trip to Toba Lake, which is three times the size of Lake Garda, we had great local guides on the way and there who explained everything about the impressive myths and history of the area.
Overall, we got a very nice adventure experience, especially during the rainforest tour. The team works very well and professionally and we really had fun with them.

Highly recommended! - It was a beautiful day trip in the jungle. The guides introduced us to the flora and fauna in English and spoiled us with delicious fruits during the breaks and a complete meal at lunchtime. I liked the care and Sumatra so much that a longer round trip is planned for next year

A top day out in the jungle! - We had an amazing time on the jungle trek—it completely exceeded my expectations. The highlight was definitely spotting so many orangutans up close in their natural habitat, which felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The trek itself was well-paced and took us deep into the lush, vibrant rainforest.
Halfway through, we stopped for a well-prepared lunch right in the jungle, which included a fresh and delicious fruit platter—such a great touch that really added to the overall experience.
To top it all off, we finished the day with river rafting, which was the perfect way to cool down and end on a high note. The guides were excellent—friendly, professional, and clearly very experienced. We felt safe and looked after the entire time. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, nature, and great hospitality.
