Great Tour, Great Guide! - Alain was great, informative and funny! He kept the tour on track and even though the weather had other plans we got a lot of the major points of Snaelfenes Peninsula and learned so much about Icelandic history in the process! Would definitely do it again! It's definitely a full day experience so plan for that...but 100% worth it, even in the most severe conditions!

Amazing once in a lifetime experience - Lovely tour, although we had a bit of a rough time because of the snow storm. But our guide Alain was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Incredibly chill guy, all props to him!

Amazing Snæfellsnes Tour Despite the Weather! - We joined a one-day tour to Snæfellsnes today, and even though the weather conditions were far from ideal, the experience turned out to be absolutely wonderful. Our driver Pieter was incredibly professional and ensured a safe and smooth journey throughout the day, even in challenging weather. We truly felt secure and well taken care of. Our guide Alain was exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights about Icelandic history, the formation of fjords, geothermal energy, and many intriguing stories and legends about the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. His explanations were rich, engaging, and easy to follow, which made the landscapes even more meaningful and impressive. Despite the bad weather, the tour was unforgettable thanks to their professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this tour — especially with Pieter and Alain!

Great tour! - Dooley was our guide for the day and he did a great job! Pick up at our hotel was right on time and after a few other pick ups, we were on our way! Dooley was very informative and provided lots of information about the stops we went to as well as some of the history of Iceland. He made it a point to talk to each of us individually to see where we were from and checked in periodically to confirm we were enjoying the tour. We were blessed with beautiful day! Sunny and clear, even though the temp was chilly and the wind was biting at times. Thank you for a lovely day!

Very disappointing!!! - Bus full/crammed, pot luck if you’re on correct side of bus to see, or get photos, bus doesn’t stop at best views, Not enough time at most stops with actual views/interest, but way way too long at ‘rest room breaks’ and there’s lots of them! Not much regarding Snæfellsjökull volcano/glacier, just a view miles away from bus, no stop for best views of Kirkjufell mountain, too long at Budakirkja, and Ytri Tunga Beach! Denis the guide talks non-stop and repeats himself constantly, but fails to point out where to go and see at visit stops!

Horrible experience - This trip should have been canceled by the tour operator due to weather forecast and conditions. I completely understand that no one can control the weather, but tour operators should look at the forecast and if a snowstorm is going to hit during the planned outing, where whiteout conditions occur, the tour should be canceled. Unfortunately that did not happen and all we got to see was the seal beach briefly and a hurried stop at the black church as that is when the nasty weather moved in and it was whiteout conditions for the next 8-9 hours. The tour driver, Alain, was knowledgeable, however he just kept repeating all day long “if you look out your window you would see ______, however, no, you can’t see anything so I will tell you about it.” I basically felt like I was in a hostage situation because the tour company wanted to make money when in all actuality this tour should have been canceled. The bus was crowded, we had to sit in the very back which was bumpy and cramped. The seats are extremely narrow. All in all a horrible 12 hour excursion for our last day in Reykjavik. We were very disappointed.
