Begin with a picturesque drive into the stunning Hvalfjördur, a vast 30-kilometer fjord filled with natural beauty and fascinating history. The journey from Reykjavik to the fjord takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, enjoy a drive along the fjord with several stops for photographs.

After another hour of driving, arrive at Deildartunguhver, one of Europe’s largest hot springs, conveniently located next to Krauma spa, where a soothing bath is an option.

Next, visit Reykholt, a historic town rich in medieval Icelandic manuscript studies.

A short drive will then lead to the enchanting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls.
