Beautiful resort and exceptional staff - A group of 8 traveled here Mother's Day weekend (for 5 days) to celebrate my birthday. Transportation from the airport (through Costco Travel) was quick and easy. This adults-only resort was beautiful inside and out and well-maintained. My ocean-view room was beautiful and comfortable. I was welcomed with a large birthday banner on my interior door, rose petals and "HBD" on the bed, a bottle of champagne and a slice of birthday cake. (A different dessert was provided in my room daily.) Thank you! The food was good--my favorites were the Caribbean-themed restaurant on the beach and the Japanese hibachi (both very good). I generally don't like buffets, but the breakfast buffet was above-average with fresh fruit, mimosas and made-to-order omelets. (I wish the pastries were made daily.) The Italian restaurant wasn't bad but once was enough. The on-beach grill was convenient for a quick snack. The cocktail selections were plentiful and tasty. The 24-hour room service was quick and convenient. The entertainment was average. I wish there were a little more outdoor activities and music. Everything became very quiet by 7:00 p.m, which was surprising. (The pools closed at 6:00.) The music seemed tailored more towards Americans/Europeans; I wished there was more of a local flavor in music (instead of the same 3 popular Bob Marley tunes). The indoor evening shows, featuring local bands and dancers, were entertaining. They put a lot of effort into their performances and it showed. Good job! I traveled with family and the ones in their 20's were a little bored. They eventually discovered after 2 days they had to go to the other onsite resorts for excursions and entertainment. This one was too quiet for them, so keep that in mind when going with a group with a broad age range. I enjoy peace and quiet (and small crowds) and even I found this to be a little too quiet at times. I was treated to a massage at the onsite spa. Excellent (5 out of 5 stars). I regret not taking the time to try the sauna and jacuzzi. I would definitely use this service again. The overall service: I cannot express enough how professional, helpful and friendly the staff was -- from the front desk, to housekeeping and maintenance, the restaurant servers and hostesses, and bartenders. If any of them noticed a guest looking lost or confused, they immediately offered assistance without being intrusive. I know I rated everything on a 5-star scale, but the staff here deserves a 10. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely.

Clean car - His car was extremely clean so clean he wouldn’t allow us to sip our water after a 4 hour plane ride! Got us to the hotel safely so it wasn’t so bad.

Transfer from Rose Hall Beach Hotel to Montego Bay airport with baby seat - We booked this transfer from Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Hotel because we needed a large vehicle that could hold 4 adults and a baby in a rear facing baby seat and 10 pieces of luggage (including pack and play and stroller) plus 2 large purses and 2 nap sacks. We booked pick up for noon. All of the above was confirmed via email and phone call upon booking. They called us at the resort the day before to confirm. They had us booked for 1 pm pick up. We told them we wanted a pick up at 12 noon and confirmed the size of the vehicle with rear facing baby seat. The van did not arrive at noon; I called them, they had us for 1 pm, I confirmed we needed noon and we were now late. The van arrived at 12:40 pm; it was large enough but the baby seat was front facing. We made it to the airport in time for our flight.

Late…lack of communication - Lack of communication….had to call n wait for the ride at airport….then never got the pickup confirmation even after 24 hours prior to departure….called multiple times and no answer.
