Unique and amazing experience with unique and amazing creatures - What a unique and amazing experience this was! Kate, the guide, was so well spoken and knowledgeable. The rain did not dampen our spirits as Kate made it fun throughout. We were so pleasantly surprised that each one of us got to walk our own llama or alpaca. Photo ops were frequent and entertaining. It was the highlight of our week long trip in this ea and we would do it again!!

Hiking with the Alpacas - My wife and I visited the Clover Brooke Farm on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Kate was our guide as we toured the farm and went on the alpaca tour with alpacas Moe and Chewbacca. Moe and Chewbacca were very friendly and patiently walked with us around the approximately 1 mile trail. I definitely recommend this tour for families with younger children. We had a great time and think you will too.

City gals enjoying the farm! - We had the best visit to Clover Brook Farm. As city gals we were cautious about taking the alpaca/llama hike but we had so much fun. Our guide Katie was super- she explained how to handle our companions, Percy the llama & Remy the alpaca, and what to expect- she was professional and excited about her job. Several goats came along with us and they added a little mischief to the walk which was adorable!! After our hike we visited the other animals and enjoyed learning all about life on the farm. Our visit ended in the gift shop where we bought homemade wild thyme soap- can’t wait to try it! This would be a wonderful activity to do with young children who love animals and are curious about farm life. Highly recommend! 🦙 💚

Well worth the visit! - Small family run farm that allows you to walk their alpacas and llamas. Insightful host our day was the husband/father. Very knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions. Great way to round out a day in Hyde Park before or after the FDR library. Not really a hike. More like a walk through pastures and a jaunt through the woods. Maybe 0.5 miles. Where proper footwear. It is a farm after all!

Smells like rotten Eggs at this air b and b - We stayed in the Air B and B apartments on the farm and don’t recommend. The water in the bathroom smells terrible of rotten eggs. The water also doesn’t drain in the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. The owner gave lie to my husband to put didn’t the sink to try to help the water go find and he burned the skin on his hands. We left the apt completely clean and the owner we think was upset we didn’t write a review so she made up lies saying we were messy guests in an air b and b rating which is unprofessional and surprising a business owner would do that. The owner is not friendly what’s so ever would walk by without an a hello. We were very surprised and disappointed by the experience.
