Definitely worth a visit - Small but very good exhibition about the eruptive activities of volcanoes of the last 100 years on Iceland. Definitely worth a visit, even if it is quite expensive. Also the shop attached is excellently sorted and not overcrowded.

Excellent and worth the stop - Excellent museum, very informative and powerful. Worth a stop. We spent just under an hour to watch the film and go through the different rooms. Exhibits were very well done and we learned a lot about the geology and evolution of the island.

Very interesting - Great interactive exhibition with lots of information about Iceland's volcanoes. For the price, however, I found it little, one is through quickly.

Small but interesting - This small museum provides a great way to learn about volcanoes and volcanic activity in Iceland. Not sure I would make a specific trip out to see it but if it's along the way to something else, it's worth the stop.

Good but very expensive - We enjoyed the various exhibitions, and the warm welcome on arrival was much appreciated. However, compared to other similar venues (eg Perlan in Rejkavik) it was very expensive. If you have been to Perlan, or plan to go there, this one is probably not worth it.
