A fantastic adventure - We loved this so much! We had originally planned to do the snowmobiling but there was insufficient snow. Luckily, they had this buggy option. It’s a perfect activity for a day when the weather isn’t fantastic. We saw great scenery, walked behind a waterfall and drove through water that washed over the buggy! They provide you with helmets, goggles and an oversuit. Make sure you have very warm and waterproof boots and good gloves. I was glad I had a rain jacket under their suit as water will splash up into the suit and go down your shirt.

From Disappointment to an Unforgettable Buggy Adventure! - We had originally reserved an Eyjafjallajökull Snowmobile Tour with Southcoast Adventure, but unfortunately, due to insufficient snow, our tour was canceled. Southcoast Adventure promptly offered us a full refund or four alternative tour options as substitutes. What began as a disappointment turned into an incredible experience when we chose the 2.5-hour buggy tour.
Our guides, Dori and Robert, were absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about the outdoors. They were excellent at answering our questions and ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. The tour felt semi-private, with only two couples, including us, which made it even more special.
The adventure took us through a frozen river, to a stunning waterfall, and into a captivating cave. The landscapes were breathtakingly beautiful—just like everything else in Iceland. If you're looking for an amazing tour, we highly recommend the buggy/UTV tour.
A big plus was that Southcoast Adventure provided weather- and wind-proof clothing, which was essential for our mid-November tour. Despite the cold and windy conditions, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. You won’t be disappointed!

Side by side tour - Awesome tour! Excellent guide! We drove to a beautiful waterfall. Highly recommend! It’s past the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Also there is a DC-3 plane wreck nearby to view. It’s not the Beach DC-3 wreck but a nice addition.

Great fun with beautiful scenery! - Our family did the 2-1/2 hour buggy tour with Southcoast Adventures and loved it! The 1000cc buggies were plenty powerful with great suspension for a nice ride. Splashing through cold glacier streams was very fun! We saw an amazing glacier up close, and the geologist tour guy was educational, too!! Highly recommend this buggy tour in Iceland

Great way to see Iceland - We did the 2 hour buggy and holy moly cannot believe the day we have had! Not only was Birdie the absolute best guide I have ever had in my life but the buggy tour is the only way to see and truly appreciate Iceland, its the perfect balance of adventure, information, adrenalin and so much more! The tour was so incredible I didn't want it to end. As a first time driver of a buggy I was a bit unsure of the driving but Birdie made sure I was safe the whole time and honestly it was best experiance of my life.

Top Notch company - Actually did the 2.5 hour buggy ride. Buggies were top quality. They provide you with everything you need: suits for warmth, helmet, goggles and gloves. Staff is friendly and helpful. Terrains we drove in were simply amazing. Thanks for a fantastic time!

Fun but meh… - This was a fun activity but you sort of just go around in circles. There were Glacier views from very far, and we went over a narrow stream of water. No beach no ice. But it was fun and the views of mountains and glaciers were lovely.

TOURIST TRAP - Unfortunately they cancelled our snowmobile activity which we anticipated so much. They told us on a superb and excellent weather condition day that their cars were stuck and they could not give us a lift up to the snowmobiles in the mountain.
-Lack of Hospitality
-Lack of Communication
-Old buggy not well maintained with smokes coming out from coolant leakage.
——————————-
Instructor was with us in the back seat to instruct how to drive a buggy in the middle of a field.
SAVE YOUR Selfs from this touristic boring trap.
