2.30 hour trip not 4 hours ! - We booked this trip for 4 hours, but unfortunately it fell quite short of expectations. Our start time was listed as 12pm, yet we were back by 2:22pm and already at our hotel by 3:30pm, meaning the time actually spent on the water was far less than advertised. We were also disappointed that no island visits were included, despite asking multiple times. When we requested to see another coral reef, the captain simply said no because there apparently wasn’t enough time, which left us feeling like we didn’t really have any say in the experience. The captain also came across as quite grumpy, which made things a little uncomfortable. Additionally, the boat was fine but didn’t match the photo in the listing, which was misleading. The advert also mentioned healthy snacks, but we were only given crisps and coke. Overall, this just wasn’t what we expected or paid for. If the 4-hour duration includes the transfer time, that needs to be made much clearer in the listing, because it currently says the trip starts at 12pm with a free transfer, not that the transfer is part of the 4 hours. I would have happily sorted my own transfer out and had more time on the water if this was made clear. I chose this tour specifically because it was advertised as 4 hours at sea, so it’s really disappointing to feel like we didn’t get the full experience we booked for.
