Travelers will board one of two Mahmya boats and enjoy a one-hour sail to the island. Mahmya Beach is located on the southern shores of Giftun Island National Park, just off the coast of Hurghada. The name “Mahmya” translates to “Protected Area” in Arabic. To preserve the coral reef and its marine life, boats anchor at buoys in the pristine bay, and smaller boats will transport guests to the shore.
Upon arrival on the island, guests can snorkel among the stunning coral heads in the clear lagoon, stroll along the sandy beach, engage in a game of beach volleyball with other visitors, or simply unwind on the pristine white beach. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the Lounge Area on Mahmya Island, which also features an Aqua Trampoline for children.
